-Overpriced, antiquated and run by a guy whose only concern is $. My family has been coming here for years. Too many years. Only recently have they given thought to relocating the family vacation, and thank God for that. KV is a bunch of little cottages that is like stepping back to 1955. Picture a tiny cabin furnished with stuff... More

HOTEL’S FAVORITE REVIEW
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2015 via mobile

We spent 10 glorious days at Kalmar Village! Our three children (ages 7 twins and 5) loved the pool, the beach, grass and beautiful location!! We loved the beach cottage, the BBQ, campfires - and stunning views! We went on local adventures in P Town with Whale watching, touring the Main Street (face painters and fun shops), great food. We... More

We had rm #8 (Tradewinds), an efficiency with a queen bed and a sofa bed. One adult and two teens in our party. The pros: Beautiful setting. On the beach. Room was very clean and updated. LOTS of outlets for charging devices. Hard floors. Comfortable bed. Fabulous location on RT 6a. Decently sized and clean pool. Microwave, little stove, and... More

We come to the Cape every year in June. We rented a 1 bedroom cottage for 2 nights. First, the good about Kalmar village: David, the manager, is very friendly and nice. So is the housekeeping staff. The location is wonderful - very close to P-town. Steps to the beach... There is a flat screen TV and the bathroom looked... More

It was a great experience, with picnic tables, a pool, a lawn , a grill and an amazing lot of people to enjoy with. The hosts are really welcoming, and the cottages are cute and very homely. There was a bonfire as well at night on the beach. The downside of this property is, the beach isn't the most convenient... More

Been staying in the Trade Winds larger efficiency for many years. This place is convenient, comfortable and right on the beach. Just made my reservation for this summer, we go up for 4 days in June and then 10 days in August. The larger efficiencies were recently updated.

I have stayed here twice now and I love it. There are multiple living options from studio/motel styles rooms to adorable cottages big enough for friends and family. I've stayed in both the cottages with a group of friends and and over at the motel style studios on the Tradewinds with my girlfriend. Kalmar is on the water and has... More

Glad I knew about this place just a week before they close for the season. It was Columbus day weekend. A small cottage by the beach, a dream come true. We stayed in a two bedroom 1b cottage. The interior is woody, airy and spotless clean. Benches are located outside each cottage. A group of wooden beach chairs surrounded a... More

Not bad! Spend here 4 nights - satisfied! Nice pool, good rooms, decent beach. Good spot for beach fire under the stars. Fresh air and not far from Provincetown. 10 minutes from beach with seals. Kids was happy!
