The stay was very good! The people are friendly and the rooms are fantastic! Well organized trips and escursions. Only point is: "please add more common showers for people that have checked out and leave late for the Airport, 1 is not enough! Furhermore I found a bit disappointing to have to change Room After a One night out excursion."

We were at Meeru for a family vacation and it sure is our best family vacation thus far. Don't let the Airport transfer fee discourage you, Its a good one hour away from the airport and Meeru ferries people in big 40 seater boats which are comfortable and due to the flight schedules they run them with partial capacities and I think its totally justified. They operate these transfers at multiple time slots to and from the Airport. The Island is located at an ideal distance from the Airport. The night sky is not polluted by city lights, there are no other tourist boats / ships buzzing around. The Island is well maintained and the beaches are very clean. The rooms are very clean and very thoughtfully appointed and you can have them cleaned twice a day ! The furniture in the rooms is very ergonomic and also the beaches have lot of beach folding beds enough for everyone ! Meeru provides clean, RO purified drinking water to your room twice (that is 4 litres a day) and if you buy the reusable water bottles from the mini-bar, you can fill them in any of the restaurants / bars. Don't worry about running into huge bills just for water. Everything is well planned and the staff is extremely polite, You can call in golf-buggies to go to various places on the island. (The island has four bars, 1 cafe, 2 a la-carte restaurants apart from the two Buffet restaurants). The entire island is a resort, so there is no worry of the tourists disturbing the locals or unintentionally hurting any local sentiments. The Duniye Spa is amazing and is a must visit when you are in Meeru. The Sunset Yatcht cruise is not to be missed, the Yacht crew try their best to spot dolphins and its an amazing experience. The Buffet spreads are generous, but cater to mainly continental palates. It could be a slight challenge for Indian-vegetarians, It wasn't a problem for us though.

Just cannot fault the resort. Everything was excellent. We stayed in the Northern end of the island and it lived up to our expectations and much more. The water villas are excellent with so much sea life around. Restaurants and bars are so efficient and relaxing. A perfect holuday!😊

Just got back from our honeymoon. Words can’t describe how wonderful this island is the staff are excellent from the maintenance team, housekeeping staff, reception staff, waiting staff and the all the kitchen staff and of course carnt forget all the bar staff after two days they knew us and as soon as went in there they said what we wanted. The trips are brilliant all thought out to cover all the questions asked. We even got to do a yacht trip on the kamana cruise over night stay on there in which you do have to pack up your room and book out but so worth it, and the staff on there were brilliant even came swimming with us and jumping or should I say pushing them off the side it was laugh a minute don’t want a give to much away but it was the perfect way to spend the last few days on there. The massage ladies were perfect especially when I’m a massage therapist and I even switched off during it lovely setting the over water spa. So perfect. The food is all labelled so you can see what is in there as I carnt eat dairy and I was stuffed everyday. Also ate in hot rock restaurant that was an excellent experience also asked to waiter what to have and had his recommendation of the mixed grill which was steak, kangaroo and ostrich and was tasty. Planing to come back next year in which I never go back to a place but here I would, it was that relaxing fun and definitely paradise. I don’t know what else to say it’s a relaxing holiday and one we won’t forget. Thank you to all the staff at meeru you are the best and so is your island

Our vocations were amazing. The only point to improve is that we travel with a 5 years old child that is used to make snorkeling with us since the 2 years old, strangely even with a live jacket bought by us and with our disposal to sign terms of responsibility the Hotel didn't authorize us to participate in the activity (only to 8 years children).
