We have stayed at the Clark-Currier a number of times over the years. The Inn is clean and cozy. The Inn keepers are down to earth and inviting. Very close to down town and the water. Perfect spot for a get away.

This little inn was perfectly located for walking to the shops and restaurants of Newburyport! The waterfront and walking trail were just of couple of blocks away as well! It was clean and comfortable with an excellent breakfast of quiches and fruits/pastries. We would definitely stay here again!

The perfect spot for a Newburyport getaway. Caitlin is wonderfully welcoming and very flexible at accommodating ad hoc requests. Breakfast is delicious - and we loved our pre-dinner drinks in the garden gazebo!

Excellent! Caitlyn does a great job running the show. I could not have enjoyed my experience more. Within walking distance to "down town Newburyport." Most relaxing. Breakfast is great. I will be back soon.

The inn is just a couple of blocks from the downtown and shoreline. We were in the Merrimack room. It is one of the smaller rooms, but big enough for us. The continental breakfast had a nice selection of fruit yogurts, pastries/bagel/muffins.

From the moment we arrived and were greeted with a friendly smile from Caitlyn, the proprietor, until we left three days later, our experience at the Clark Currier Inn was perfect. The room was cozy and comfy, the entire Inn was clean and neat, the breakfast was delicious, and the many sitting rooms were perfect for conversations. The Inn is situated in the downtown area, only a block or two from the water, shops, restaurants, and a beautiful rail trail. We could not have asked for a better B&B.

My family stayed for 3 days for a reunion. The rooms were very nice. Private bath in each room. The breakfast selection was good and most items made by Caitlin who managed the Inn. Caitlin was awesome. So friendly and helpful. Very convenient location in Newburyport. Walkable to stores, shops and restaurants. Many antiques at the Inn.

My stay at the Clark Currier Inn was very good. The host, Caitlin, was very accommodating and cheerful. She had no problem when I said that I needed to have breakfast earlier than their advertised breakfast hours, since I was in Newburyport for a multi-day birding event at MassAudubon. The Clark room faces the street on the first floor. I was worried that I'd hear a lot of street noise at night, but actually it was super quiet, even with the windows open. When I booked the room, I asked if the windows could be opened because I had concerns about COVID. I was told that they did (and they do!) Just FYI, if that is a concern of yours, you need to put a little extra elbow grease into opening the windows. They're old, and they don't stay up by themselves. There is one stick in the room to prop one window open. I had to use books to prop the others open. Also, you should double check the storm windows to make sure you're actually getting air flow from the outside. The storm windows slide up and will catch on notches at various levels to stay open. One other note: the parking lot is small. It fits about 6-8 cars. I'm not sure if all the guests got a parking spot. It's possible that you might have to park on the street (a quiet street) if you come later in the day or evening.

This was our first visit to Newburyport, and the Clark Currier Inn. We found the facility in beautiful condition and brimming with history of the early days of our country.Accommodations were excellent - room well appointed with period appropriate decor, comfortable bed and easy walking access to the waterfront area and shopping district . Our host, Caitlin, could not have been nicer or more helpful. What was billed as “continental breakfast” far exceeded our expectations. Numerous options for everyone - including gluten free, dairy free and vegan. Caitlin’s home baked muffins, pastries and frittatas, along with fresh fruit bowl made for a wonderful start to our day. We will definitely be back, as we have fallen in love with Newburyport, and highly recommend the Clark Currier Inn!
