I stayed one night at Clark Currier Inn in Newburyport as part of an extended weekend trip visiting friends. Upon arrival, the Inn hosts were there to welcome me, show me to my room on the first floor (loved that fact) to the Pike room, which like the rest of the Inn quite immaculate cozy, warm and very welcoming. Continental breakfast advertised doesn't do it justice. It was very substantial breakfast with freshly brewed coffee (another reason to love it!) I would definately return for another visit soon.
We had the pleasure of staying several nights at this lovely inn. We were in town for a wedding and the inn was among the lodging options suggested. We are so glad we chose the Clark Currier Inn. We arrived late from a long trans-atlantic flight. The Inn's lights were on and their doors were open welcoming us. Our key and a welcome message were left for us. The next morning we were greetd by a wonderful young woman, Abby, who managed the inn when the owenrs wern't there She made sure we had everything we needed and told us all about the town and things we should try and see. The breakfast each moring was perfect. Light and healthy. Lots of fresh fruits, fresh baked quiche, assorted breads and rolls. They keep a cookie jar in the parlor filled with fresh baked goodies, and even a deanter or port for an afternoon pick me up. The back yard has a sweet seating area in a gazebo with rockers and is a perfect place to sit and relax before or after a long day. The sound of the fountain and the lunsh flora surrounidngs all make for a comfortable respite. The owners live on property in the guest house, so they are always nearby. There is ample parking in the rear for the building so you don't have to worry about toting your luggage up the front stairs. They have front and rear guest entrances that are always open for your convenience. They have great WIFI reception and each suite has a flat screen TV with many channels available to watch. All in all a great place to stay, away from the hustle and bustle of traditional hotels. Cannot wait to return.…
My recent visit to the inn was wonderful; I met the charming young owners and enjoyed a delicious breakfast. The inn itself is amazing; the rooms and furnishings are part Victorian, part rustic New England. With 11 guest rooms to explore, I'm sure I'll be returning for another stayover. Highly recommended.
This is a beautiful Inn with a warm and friendly Staff who provided us with excellent services during our stay. We keep going back. Newburyport is true New England Seaport City on the Merrimac River near Plum Island. Ocean views are special.
Beautiful and very comfortable rooms, great service and a very nice breakfast. Would definitely stay here again. Location is very convenient withing walking distance to downtown Newburyport and excellent restaurants
