After spending 13 summers on MV I was jonesing to touch places and people I had loved. Menemsha was always part of my daily life then and I missed it. Since I had a small living space I would set my Island guests up at the Menemsha Inn or the Beach Plum. Part of that experience was dining at the...

I would urge those looking at Martha's Vineyard who will have a car to stay here!! It's not a fancy resort like you might find in ritzy parts of the island, it's not the kind of experience where you will feel fancy, but it is very true to the Vineyard. The staff are welcoming and friendly, the cottages are comfortable...

Despite previous reviews, LVB walk on and car pass was provided which is a great perk. Especially quiet in the evening this year as restaurant dinner is on hiatus for the season. Complimentary coffee/lemonade/wine provided every day. Breakfast is not included, but was quite reasonable and delicious. Private balcony and mini fridge in room. A bit pricey in August, even...

Went there for a Pre-wedding party. There were about 200 people there. The horderves ranged from shrimp to mushrooms stuffed with crabmeat. They were awesome. I had beef for dinner. It was tender, nicely spiced. Mashed potatoes that this Irishman loved. My wife had a Cod fish plate. Cook to perfection and it was fresh. Would go back there in...

The inn is situated on 7 acres of land overlooking the fishing village of Menemsha - a glorious view. The free range chickens supply the eggs for the morning breakfast which is wonderful. The turkeys roaming the property are subtle reminders that Ben Franklin wished them to be our national bird. You could not ask for a more lovely setting...

The wedding I attended at Beach Plum was probably one of the best I've ever had the pleasure of being present at. The weather, the ambiance, the views, the decor, the service/staff, THE FOOD and the drinks...in short, AMAZING. I felt like I was living in the pages of a bridal magazine! Everything about this place was charming and perfect....

I had the pleasure of spending the 4th of July having dinner in this great restaurant. I remember having ordered lamb and it was delicious! my partner had something different but it was super tasty as well. The view is stunning due to a great window facing the sea and they also offer outdoor seating, it was a bit expensive...

We are twice at the Beach Plum this August once with a group of friends and again with our son (who works in hospitality in New York City) and his girlfriend. It was fantastic both times. Interesting menu with what I believe is a new chef this year. If you want a special night out then come to the Beach...

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner together on Friday, August 7. Everything about our experience was great--from the table on the deck overlooking the water to the rustic but elegant decor to the beautifully presented food to the excellent (and friendly!) service. We started our meal with raw oysters and tuna crudo and both were top-notch. I had...

My wife and I stayed at the Beach plum Inn last summer for two nights. Over the years we had dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. However, the restaurant was under new management and it was a terrible disappointment. The views as always were spectacular but the service was terrible. The young waitress had such...
