Amazing. Adorable. Great Breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Wish I could give more stars!! The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was historic, quaint, and cozy. I was treated as If I was the only guest, even though the hotel was 100% booked when i stayed.
My husband and I stayed at Harbor Light Inn for a night for our anniversary this July and had a wonderful time. We were a little nervous about staying at a hotel in the midst of a pandemic, but the measures they took to keep us safe and to keep all the areas clean were great. All rooms are cleaned prior to arrival with both normal cleaning and special ultraviolet lights and then are left empty for a certain amount of time. Common areas are cleaned regularly and we were given special blankets and towels for use in the pool area, despite the fact that we had the entire space to ourselves! The inn is exactly what we hoped it would be. It has such an old-timey feel, with beautiful and tasteful updates. Our room was huge and spacious with windows looking out on the surrounding streets and the bed was so comfortable. We didn't want to get up in the morning! The staff were also wonderful. They were more than willing to provide recommendations for exploring the area, were flexible with check-in and check-out times, and provided a delicious breakfast in the morning. We had a wonderful time and hope to return soon!…
Friendly staff. Easy check in. Clean rooms. Walking distance everything. Great breakfast. Parking on site. We had the room on the third floor with its own private deck. Room was a bit small (that was made clear upon booking) the beautiful deck private deck and comfortable outdoor living space more than made up for it!
Absolutely stunning inn to stay in while in Marblehead. Staff was courteous and kind. Breakfast was great. Room was amazing! We stayed in room 27 and it was beautiful. Loved staying in a home built in the 1700's. Right in the historic district and able to walk to restaurants and businesses. Everyone we passed on the streets were so friendly and helpful. We were only able to stay one night. Wish we could have stayed at least 2 more.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay on the top floor of the Harbor Light Inn although people with mobility issues need to aware that the stairs are narrow and winding (no elevator). The room we booked was tiny with only a double bed but we spent most of our time at the inn enjoying the large private rooftop deck overlooking the pool. Breakfast choices of an egg dish, toast/muffin, oatmeal, juice and coffee was a nice start to the day. The inn is perfectly located in the center of the historic district with shopping and several casual restaurants.
