We loved loved our stay! Room exceptionally lovely with every convenience thought of. Breakfast and snacks left for us all homemade and organic. Absolutely delicious, generous and abundant. Location perfect with walks along the ocean. We were spoiled as this place topped our list for B&Bs we have been to. We’ll be back!

Arbor House is an amazing, private, peaceful getaway spot for anyone. The proximity of Arbor house to Salem can peak the interest of many avid historians. As well as, the surrounding towns offer peaceful, and once in a life time adventures. Dave's knowledge of Marblehead, Salem, and other areas is extensive. Jennifer's baked goodies, and homemade yogurt, granola, and fresh picked raspberries, are amazing! Hands down the best place, to enjoy how you want, and still feel like home. My "husband" and I had our first visit, and it surely won't be our last! After 8 years and 2 kids of our own (4 in total) he propose, on our first night, in the private bamboo garden! Thank you Dave & Jennifer you have won our hearts, but we feel as though we won, purely from the memories we made here! We will see you soon!

I can only agree with the many comments already made in other reviews. Great hosts. delicious baked goods calling from the pantry, and a lovely, quiet location. This room is comfortable and the tiny kitchen is well stocked and a great feature for long or short stays. The Arbor House is also good value relative to other properties in Marblehead.

I was looking for a place for my daughter & son-in-law to spend their wedding night; couldn't have found a better place. Jen and Dave are lovely human beings and extraordinary hosts--they think of everything, are avalable but never invade your privacy. The space almost defies description--luxurious, gorgeous and yet warm and comfortable. My daughter raved about the food and all the special touches. When they arrived, Jen had the whole place illuminated in candlelight, with special treats for the newlyweds. They loved walking down to the little beach in the morning, and enloying breakfast in the private garden/coutyard/tropical hideaway the hosts have created. Thank you Jen and Dave for your sheer magic!

My husband and I visited Marblehead last weekend for a wedding and stayed at the Arbor House. The private room is adjacent to the house located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. A short walk brings you down to a rocky beach. The room is exactly as pictured, perfect and cozy for two. It's about 5 minutes drive to downtown Marblehead restaurants and shops or out to the "island" yacht clubs where the wedding was held. Jennifer is a gracious host and an accomplished cook and baker. We had outstanding homemade treats for breakfast and snacks! Arbor House is a terrific find, and I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Jennifer for a lovely weekend.
