We have stayed four or five times in the Lighthouse Suite and hope to return many times more. The Inn is, as advertised, comfortable, and tasteful, with lovely gardens and views. But best of all are the hosts who entertain with ease, generosity, and joy. They know exactly when to leave you in privacy and when to help out or... More

We just completed an amazing two night stay in the Lighthouse Suite apartment at the Seagull Inn. Set in the residential and quaint Marblehead Neck, the Seagull Inn was a superb ending to our coastal New England getaway. Ruth and Skip were gracious hosts who were accommodating and warm from the beginning. They clearly have mastered the art of inn-keeping... More

Our stay at the Seagull Inn, the first stop on our New England road trip has set the standard by which we will judge the other inns in which we will stay during the trip. We will consider ourselves very fortunate to find another which matches the excellence of the Seagull Inn. The combination of excellent accommodation and breakfast, delightful... More

Four of us stayed three nights in the Lighthouse Suite Apartment. It was comfortable and roomy with a lovely deck for afternoon lounging (faces East). We kept the futon pulled out during our stay and had plenty of room with the deck and Ruth and Skip's late afternoon happy hour in their garden. Breakfasts were exceptional with smoked salmon, homemade... More

The Seagull Inn in a wonderful space to gather with the family and reuniting with old friends. Rooms were welcoming with new mattresses and nautical themed decorations. The common areas and kitchen were spacious and comfortable. With all the tasteful accommodations the best feature were are host Ruth and Skip. This was our third trip to Marblehead and the Seagull Inn for our reunion. We were a group of nine this time but we have been as many as thirteen from across the nation and around the world. The Seagull is fantastic. The owners, Skip and Ruth, are determined to meet all of our needs including an invitation each evening... More

Want same old, same old? Stay home! Seagull Inn charms you with character and a hint of colonial romance while providing exceptional comfort. The Pre-Colonial town of Marblehead will turn anyone into a tourist and a hiker because each block is a visual vacation. The harbor and shore - both visible from the deck of the Inn - offer a... the seagull Inn is a fantastic house, the situation on the island is unique. As soon as you arrive, you feel at home, it's very clean, cosy and peaceful. See view. The best place in Marblehead to stay one night or few days.

Marblehead is a great place - massive amounts of maritime and American history, shops and galleries, parks, walking up and down charming streets chockablock with early American architecture. When all the excitement of the day is behind you, though, it's really nice to be able to find some quiet space, and the Seagull delivers that, in spades. Three lovely suites,... More
