We stayed at the Old Corner Inn because it was conveniently located to a social gathering with friends in the area. There is not much else going for it. An old structure, it wears its history awkwardly. The ceilings everywhere are badly cracked; wallpaper is falling off the walls, and linoleum creeps off the bathroom floors. It badly needs refurbishing!... More

It's a great spot, and the only game in town. And they know it. It's a charming inn, built in the late 1800's, with lots of charm and spacious rooms. It was then probably updated in the late 70's or early 80's. And then they just decided to ride that wave. I mean, this place is impeccably clean, and tidy.... More

While there were some things better than others, this place needs some work. Our room was good and fairly clean, there needed to be some deep cleaning. We had a good value for the money with a small discount for bringing some more guests with us. The downside was that the living room space was just for show. We attempted... More

Alright, no flat screen TVs in the rooms, but there is computer access. The large friendly open porch welcomes you as you step into the Victorian-ish lobby of the old Corner Inn. Your room is a comfy four poster or large King size bed looking out on the large, sleepy trees through lace curtains of your warmly wallpapered room with... More

Stopped here by chance and was welcomed by Arthur , had a lovely spacious room, with en suite and roll top bath. Very old property, but had a wonderful nights sleep. Michael the owner was very friendly and we had a super breakfast in the delightful home from home dining area. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We're pretty much locals but I like the Rte. 127 area up and down the coast from Salem to Rockport. Have passed by this place many times on the way to Tuck's Point so we decided to stay just for the heck of it even tho it's only 15 miles from where I live. Manchester is a really pretty place.... Local little inn in Manchester by the Sea, run by Michael. Both he and the inn were charming and accommodating. Very comfy bed and quaint rooms. Continental breakfast included, clean towels daily, free wifi access. We will definitely stop in and stay again.

This room is ridiculous, it's a huge room that has NOWHERE to hang clothes, not an armoire, not a closet, not even a metal rack. And the bathroom is at best DISGUSTING. One, it's carpeted, screaming germ infestation, the sink is absolutely useless, being so short in depth you cannot wash your face without soaking your feet and the shower... More

When my husband and I arrived at the Old Corner Inn, we rang the front doorbell and were greeted by Mike, who welcomed us to town and got us settled into our room. A welcomed respite from the 100 degree heat wave outside, our room was chilled to a comfortable level by the window unit inside. Toiletries, as well as... More

A recent visit to Massachusetts and a girlfriend getaway brought me to the Old Corner Inn, A charming B&B, located on beautiful Cape Ann. Inn Keeper Mike was friendly and helpful as was his assistant Steve. A continental breakfast was served each morning and I enjoyed having coffee out on the gracious front porch. The common areas were relaxing and... More
