This hotel seems to be run by immature adults. It is ridiculuous, I booked a room for my fiances birthday, we had a few family members over. When we booked the room (months in advance and our reservations were messed up) no one told us we couldnt have a few family members over for cake and pizza, until we were there and everyone was arriving, then a shorter lady who was very rude who worked here came to the room and proceeded to get in my fiances face demandng that they need to leave or we will be shut down. After she finished being extremely unprofessional we then went inside to gather everyones things and check on our two newborns sleeping in the room. We then went to turn the lights on so our family could pack and be on their way and all of the lights were shut off on us! Afterour family gathered their things and left we called the rude woman again at the front desk who again screamed at my fiance saying we had to pack up and leave (at 11pm) after he had started consuming alcoholic beverages since he thought we were staying the night, he proceeded to tell the extremly rude lady on the phone that and he aske dif they could turn the lights on so we could pack up then she stated too bad he had started drinking and there is no way her manager will turn the lights on. it is extremely upsetting we were treated like this especially the fact they made us pack our things at 11pm in the dark with a newborn baby who is screaming at this point. While trying to navigate in the dark i fell multiple times with my baby, i will be telling everyone to NEVER book here. we got kicked out for having 4 family members over for pizza and cake although the few hours we were there we saw multiple men have sex with women and leave but our quiet gathering was an issue. THIS PLACE IS SERIOUSLY A JOKE. NEVER BOOK A ROOM HERE. THEY ARE INCONSIDERATE AND RUDE!…
stayed there convenient to where I live, but they state the rooms are updated, they just put mirrors on the walls and the bathrooms and beds are the same, stayed in a room that had a door to the adjoining room but they had a party all night and could hear loud music and actual conversations going on, with people coming in and out, at 200am a fight broke out in front of the rooms and since my car was parked outside I was worried so my friend called the manager to complain, after that it was quiet, you get what you pay for, but I prefer to stay in the other suburbs and pay extra for nicer rooms with bathtubs and less noise.
Was looking for a cheap place to stay and came across this place.. went and got the room which smelled like straight chemicals when I opened the door. The 10 minutes I was in there before going to get food all I could hear was the people in the room next to me. Ok.. I open the door to leave and there’s a man making out with a young looking girl right next to the door leaning on the window to my room. Weird. I ended up getting a call from my family and there was an emergency and I had to leave and drive back home. My stuff was in the room for maybe an hour and a half, I was in there for about 10 minutes. Went to try to explain to girl at front desk and she wanted nothing to do with any of it. No refund of course. If the emergency never came up I still would have left and found another place. It was sketchy and gave us an uneasy feeling. Never would go back or recommend. Save your money.…
We were 6 girls travelling after working the summer at a camp. the town line inn was the best accommodation we could have picked. This is a prime example of don’t judge a book by its cover, the place is absolutely amazing on the inside, the sleeping arrangements for the 6 of us was perfect. We can’t thank the staff - Lewis the manager especially. the efforts he went to to make sure we were all ok was amazing. he truly cares about his guests and it really shows. It’s a perfect location to travel into central Boston, shop in the near by town, the metro station, a beach and plenty more. Would recommend this place to anyone. We had a great time staying here, if we come back to this area again we wouldn’t hesitate to book the town line inn again!! Forever thankful for the efforts and friendliness here. We love you Lewis!!…
This hotel is a throw back to the days of strip motels with the rooms all in a line where you park your car at the door. I could tell some effort had been made to upgrade the motel but really all you are getting is a place to lay your head at night. No breakfast included. Coffee machine in the lobby which was clean and open all night with vending machines (I did appreciate this at 4 in the morning). My room was clean but other reviewers are right, the toilets wobble. I believe the person who installed them did not really know how. The air conditioner worked. The hotel was only 6 miles to Boston, which was important to me, but at rush hour, it still took over 30 minutes to get to Cambridge. Sometimes you just need a room and if you don't want to pay the outrageous prices in Boston, this hotel will get you through the night.…
