Was looking for a cheap place to stay and came across this place.. went and got the room which smelled like straight chemicals when I opened the door. The 10 minutes I was in there before going to get food all I could hear was the people in the room next to me. Ok.. I open the door to leave and there’s a man making out with a young looking girl right next to the door leaning on the window to my room. Weird. I ended up getting a call from my family and there was an emergency and I had to leave and drive back home. My stuff was in the room for maybe an hour and a half, I was in there for about 10 minutes. Went to try to explain to girl at front desk and she wanted nothing to do with any of it. No refund of course. If the emergency never came up I still would have left and found another place. It was sketchy and gave us an uneasy feeling. Never would go back or recommend. Save your money.

We were 6 girls travelling after working the summer at a camp. the town line inn was the best accommodation we could have picked. This is a prime example of don’t judge a book by its cover, the place is absolutely amazing on the inside, the sleeping arrangements for the 6 of us was perfect. We can’t thank the staff - Lewis the manager especially. the efforts he went to to make sure we were all ok was amazing. he truly cares about his guests and it really shows. It’s a perfect location to travel into central Boston, shop in the near by town, the metro station, a beach and plenty more. Would recommend this place to anyone. We had a great time staying here, if we come back to this area again we wouldn’t hesitate to book the town line inn again!! Forever thankful for the efforts and friendliness here. We love you Lewis!!

This hotel is a throw back to the days of strip motels with the rooms all in a line where you park your car at the door. I could tell some effort had been made to upgrade the motel but really all you are getting is a place to lay your head at night. No breakfast included. Coffee machine in the lobby which was clean and open all night with vending machines (I did appreciate this at 4 in the morning). My room was clean but other reviewers are right, the toilets wobble. I believe the person who installed them did not really know how. The air conditioner worked. The hotel was only 6 miles to Boston, which was important to me, but at rush hour, it still took over 30 minutes to get to Cambridge. Sometimes you just need a room and if you don't want to pay the outrageous prices in Boston, this hotel will get you through the night.

Pay attention to the bad reviews. I wished I had. Uneven floors and I had to rehang the curtain rod. The curtain was just a black piece of cloth that you could almost see through if the light is just right. No plastic baggies for the ice bucket. No plug in near bed to charge your cell phone. No lamps near the bed. Turn off the light from across the room, then get in bed. And a weird "night light" in the wall that you couldn't turn off.

I went some days ago yo stay with my familiy, and it was a horrible experience. One of the rooms smelled like cigarette and they didnt change us the rooms. Both of them has the shower leaking all day. We payed to much money for the service they gave us. And the recepcionist never gave us a solution. I Will never come back. It was disgusting
