Very nice and accommodating staff, clean, good breakfast and nice little pool and jacuzzi. This is the first place I have been to where they had toys for the kids in the pool. Overall we had a great experience and will come back.

I’ve stayed here seven times & I’m almost tempted to give this place a bad review just to keep people from filling it up and perhaps driving up the price!!! ...but I can’t! This is the best deal in the Berkshires whether you’re skiing Butternut or Jiminy Peak or even some of the other smaller mountains. It’s centrally located 22 minutes to Butternut, 32 minutes to Jiminy! It’s clean and the rooms are ample and spacious. The hot tub is perfect after a long day on the slopes while the kids splash around in the pool. I’ve also never had such a great complimentary breakfast. Everything from scrambled eggs to waffles, cereal, fruit & pretty much anything you can think of; and on the weekends they even have an omelette station. If that wasn’t enough for you, the desk staff, especially the manager George are exceptional. They never make you feel like you’re burdening them when you ask for anything. I even once left a six pack of some great local beers in the room fridge and George kindly kept them aside for me because I was going to be returning in just two weeks. Although we like skiing both of the big mountains we were always kind of partial to the smaller Butternut. Great Barrington has a plethora of fairly good and reasonable motels, but nothing that could provide the hot tub & the pool to entertain us and the kids after hours; as well as the ability to have joining rooms for a large family like mine (I have 4 kids), & BREAKFAST. The only place they could “maybe” match the Yankee Inn is the Marriott in Great Barrington but it’s double the price per night & I do t know if they have joining rooms or an equal breakfast for there outrageous prices. It’s well worth the extra 20 minute drive to stay here. ...but don’t tell anyone else 😉

My partner and I decided to get away for a long weekend and found Yankee Inn. Accommodations were wonderful, I loved the huge jacuzzi tub, I spent at least 2 hours a night in the thing. The wood burning fireplace was so lovely - we utilized it every night, it was so peaceful falling asleep to. Daily breakfast was delicious, I loved the made to omelettes on the weekends. Would absolutely go again, this place is a gem.

Dear Suzanne, Thank you for your wonderful review. Those fireplace rooms with the two-person Jacuzzi are very popular, and you can see why. We have gas fireplaces for people who would rather, but there's something special about the wood fireplaces... I'm with you. We hope to see you again soon, and we promise to keep working hard to make our guests happy.
