This is our first visit this year. The hotel continues to improve its services. Front desk staff are courteous and helpful. Because of construction in the mansion we were offered an alternative suite in the newly renovated cottages. The quality of the renovation is excellent and the accommodation is spacious. Staff acknowledged the problem by a discounted room rate. We ate twice in 1894. The quality of the food was outstanding. They have kidnapped their new chef from NYC and the creativity, flair, and taste were superb. Wines were excellent if overpriced. Irritating things that are an easy fix. Provide writing materials eg notepads and pens in the rooms. The gym for Wyndhurst needs an attendant. There were no wipes for the equipment. It would be helpful if the hotel provided some basic equipment such as corkscrew, kettle etc. In this day and age the hotel could do better than basic Keurig machines. Nespresso would be a nice touch. Umbrellas would be helpful especially with the heavy rains this year All in all we had a great stay and will continue to come back to enjoy Lennox

Hotel's Favorite
A few days leading up to our arrival we received an email from the Wyndhurst advising us on where to go to check in, etc. It was very detailed and we appreciate that. From the moment we met with Billy at check-in, we felt very well taken care of- he gave us a very thorough walk-through of the property, where we could/couldn't go, what to expect, and more. Our room was fantastic with gorgeous plush bed, mini fridge and sink, and a super clean bathroom. We especially enjoyed the bed and even asked the staff post check-out where to buy one and within minutes they gave me the website. The facility is stunning and I would love to come back in the summer to check out the pool and outdoor activities- since we came when it was cold, we mainly hiked (around the corner at October Mountain) and visited the local shops/restaurants. The perfect 10- from the staff, to the cleanliness to the overall experience, I would come back here in a heartbeat and would recommend the Wyndhurst to anyone and everyone.

We sought a relaxing first-time 'adventure' after being homebound for a year. Though it was pre-season, and much in the area was closed, we had a lovely stay. We felt safe, and truly relaxed. We will return.

Ok so first things first, the grounds are beautiful and nice for a getaway from the city which is what I was looking for. The bed was super comfortable and the rooms are a very decent size. One of the rooms had a deck which was great. Overall it was an ok stay until the last day when I called for room service. I called and placed my breakfast order and asked if I could please get some extra coffee and water for the Keurig. When the food arrived, not only did they serve raw sweet potatoes but they didn’t add the coffee pods we asked for. When I received the bill they charged twice as much as was posted on the menu. Now I get taxes and fees but twice as much is a bit much. When I called the front desk to speak with someone to confirm the charges, they told me the manager was busy but would give me a call back to check on the bill. I have still yet to receive a call back. I stayed at another Hyatt hotel for a fraction of the price that same week and would go back. This one not so much.
