We loved our stay at the Hampton Terrace Inn. We felt very safe with their check in/check out procedures. We were able to enjoy the pool which was great. The room was very clean and quiet. There was a lot to do in the Lenox area. We were able to enjoy two theater productions, shopping, restaurants and incredible beauty. Highly reccomend

Thank you! We put great thought into how we could open successfully. We subscribe totally to the "Stay Small Stay Safe" concept - meaning that a small, owner-occupied inn is likely to be safer than most other lodging options. Since we are as likely as our guests to be exposed to the virus as they are from each other....we make sure that our cleaning protocols are followed, that guests wear the masks we provide in their welcome baskets, and that everything we can think of is provided within reach - so that our guests can be self sufficient with minimal personal contact. We are gratified to hear that our efforts seem to be successful.

Always a great stay and Covid can't change that. The "Airbnb Style" accommodations were terrific.....plenty of supplies and everything necessary for a great stay. Beautiful pool, grounds and immaculate as always......our room was perfect! All in all a fantastic getaway........so fantastic, I just booked another stay in a few weeks!!!

Thanks, Steve! And as I respond to this review, you are actually already back. I will say one thing about our being closed six months.... We spent the time upgrading the property - doing the kind of major exterior improvements that normally would have been hard to do with guests around. So a bit of silver lining, and thanks for noticing. We have gotten such good feedback about our "AirBnB Style" experience, that we are going to keep it through May, 2021.

We needed to get away during this stressful time, but there was only one place we knew we would be safe - Hampton Terrace. We knew that the room would be immaculate. In fact, It was deep cleaned and then aired out for a day between guests! The bed was comfortable, we had complete control of the air temperature, the gas fireplace provided warmth and ambiance. There was even a lovely welcome basket when we arrived, and TV tables for eating snacks in our room. Sure enough, we were not disappointed and came back home feeling refreshed.

Thank you! We are so appreciative of our repeat guests...those who find a way to come year after year, in spite of what life throws at us. As I mentioned in an earlier response, we gave a lot of thought (and research) into how we could craft an "experience of self sufficiency" from check-in to check-out. A live texting link called Whistle has been really great, because guests know they can reach me in seconds, if needed. I have been very relieved to see that (without exception) our guests are using the masks we provide in the welcome basket. Also, guest feedback is verifying what I already know.... Businesses in Lenox are enforcing safe distancing and masking policies without exception. We watch the news and we know some places are not taking all this as seriously as they should. Not the case here at Hampton Terrace, or around the Berkshires. I am sure we will see you next year, and we are looking forward.

This remains one of the best B&B's in the USA. Hampton Terrace is an immaculate, calm oasis. We felt totally safe. And despite the absence of the usual attractions of Tanglewood, Shakespeare, Williamstown Theater and Jacob's Pillow, the Berkshires offer timeless beauty, tranquility, biking, hiking and excellent open safe restaurants. Everyone, including the staff in the inn, is absolutely meticulous about safety and cleanliness. We've stayed here before and we will be back next summer, vaccine or no vaccine.

Thanks, Roger. So generous. You arrived in our first wave after being closed for Covid, and we are so appreciative to hear that our attempts to offer a safe, yet inviting environment seem to be working. We put a great deal of thought into how we could set things up so that a guest could navigate from check-in to check-out without personal interaction with other guests or staff. Our new texting program is working perfectly - meaning that I am instantly available to answer questions or handle issues. Looking forward to your return next summer.

Late check in procedure extremely easy, well documented, and appreciated. Stan and staff very welcoming and would go back at any time. Quiet, very clean room, better linens then any commercial hotel i have stayed at. Location has quick access to roads and will lend itself to exploring/ walking during good weather. Chocolate was amazing and well worth the addition. Fireplace in room was romantic and cozy. Great way to spend the new year! Looking forward to coming back anytime in the area.
