We decided last minute to spend a night in the Berkshires. I think we were right between seasons, and were able to get room 18 with only 36 hours notice. I would recommend planning much further ahead than that - I think we just got lucky on a shoulder season weekend between leaf peeping and winter wonderland. What a charming...

Thank you for your kind words regarding your recent stay at the Garden Gables Inn. We are so happy to hear that your last minute decision turned into a great experience. The Inn is particularly cozy in the winter - that storm was a surprise for us all. We hope that you will have a future opportunity to visit the...

The Garden Gables Inn is perfectly located in Old Lenox with so many wonderful restaurant and shopping choices within walking distance. We stayed in Honeycrisp Cottage last year and Macoun Cottage this year. Each has a king size bed and a working fireplace which makes for a cozy stay. The breakfasts are made to order with wonderful choices like apple...

We enjoyed out stay at Garden Gables - it's a good location as there are excellent restaurants within walking distance and Megan was really helpful with recommendations and bookings. I loved the "sherry room" where one can enjoy a tipple in front of a real log fire (no fake gas flames here) and there is a spacious pantry area with...

Lovely home, hosts, breakfast, location, and service. Stayed there while taking a course at Kripalu nearby. Very happy I chose to stay here, off site, and go back to a home like feel each night. Would happily stay there again!

We said we would come back for another great experience, and we did. This time we stayed in one of the cottages, Rm. 19, which was quiet and cozy on a raw New England autumn weekend. The working fireplace was a real treat, as was the bottle of the Old Vine Zinfandel from the nearby Furnace Brook Winery, owned for...

We had a great time here. Cozy rooms (despite their size), complete with fireplaces. We weren't in the main house, so the peace and quiet was almost palpable. We took full advantage of the mingling hour (sherry and munchies) as well as the home-made snacks (which were delicious) in the pantry, and were surprised when no one else was there...

We stayed in one of the cottage rooms close by to the main house: Room 17. The room has a Jacuzzi tub with shower and wet bar area with a small refrigerator. The breakfast menu was adequately varied plus a buffet. We like the idea of being able to walk to the restaurants and shops nearby. We have been going...

Thank you for again selecting the Garden Gables Inn for your stay in Lenox - we are so delighted to have the opportunity to welcome back long-time friends each year. As you point out, the Inn's location on the edge of Lenox Village is very convenient to get to the shops and restaurants - especially with no hills to navigate...

My minimal expectation of any lodging is a good night's sleep. I regret to say that this did not happen during our stay. We were on the first floor in a beautiful suite and all was well until we hit the sack. Then it started. The thin ceiling did not protect us from hearing the occupant above our room snoring...
