Our recent trip to Brook Farm Inn was a delightful return for me, and a wonderful introductory trip for my family. As others have written, Phil and Linda are charming hosts and really understand that the best innkeepers go the extra yard for their guests. We have travelled to the Berkshires for over 20 years, and rate BFI at the...

My wife and I have been returning to Brook Farm Inn for a at least a decade. Phil and Linda are knowledgable inn keepers and run a very comfortable and professional establishment. Rooms vary quite a bit in size and style but are all quality New England style accommodations. I would ask for help from the inn keepers in choosing...

Visited here mid-May for a poetry writing retreat. The inn's motto is "There is poetry here!" and I certainly agree. This is a lovely old inn, welcoming and accommodating hosts, comfortable rooms and a great library including many poetry volumes. Each morning we were greeted by an excellent breakfast, a strata or French Toast, fresh baked muffins or banana bread,...

We arrived between snow storms last January for my husand to give a speech and it was magical every minute in this beautiful house. Phil and Linda are the model hosts, the ones that you imagine every time you book a B&B..... but rarely find. Breakfasts were expansive with delicious homemade specialties (ask for Phil's baked French Toast!). You might...

This weekend was excactly what we were hoping for. It felt like we had entered a charmed zone outside common reality, where all was right with the world. Our stay was completely comfortable, the surroundings beautiful and the service and care by Linda and Phil truly gracious and warm. We visited the great Mass Moca museum in North Adams and...

We spent a winter weekend at the Brook Farm Inn and enjoyed it very much. Linda and Phil are great hosts. The common areas of the inn are great--the dining room and the sitting/living area which has window seats and a fireplace. Linda makes scones and they serve tea at 4 on weekends. This past weekend, she also told stories...

We chose to stay here as part of a tour that included a James Taylor concert. Tanglewood is just a short drive down the road so the b&b was perfect. Our room was very comfortable and we appreciated being able to make our own beverages in the residents kitchen down the hallway. Breakfasts provided lots of choice and perfect to...

I have stayed at Brook Farm twice with my wife and had great experiences both times. It has become a very special place for us and we hope to return. If you're goal is to relax, this is a great spot. The innkeepers are great and the breakfast is delicious.

This was an experience of poetry and grace. It is difficult to find the perfect Inn but in Brook Farm we did just that. Phil and Linda were gracious and helpful, but truly just a pleasure to talk with. We stayed in the poet's room and felt comfortable without ostentation, elegant without feeling we were in a museum. We felt...
