This motel has all the basics, including a refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. However, we felt trapped because the windows don't open and the fan doesn't give much ventilation. The weather was beautiful and only about 80 degrees for the high, but we had to use the air conditioning to keep from roasting in our room. The room-darkening... More

This hotel is a throwback to the old days of motor lodges next to the highways, with sterile rooms, lacking upscale amenities, insufficient electrical outlets, nonexistent wireless internet (despite claims to the contrary) and a lack of ambiance. The pros: a quiet pool area, centrally located within the L shaped motel space, eager to please family proprietors, and availability, albeit... More

The people there were friendly and polite. They showed us places and things to do around town since we were on vacation. Great stay

We chose the hotel because we got a good advance purchase rate, it had an outdoor pool and it seemed to have good ratings on the travel site we booked it through. However, the outdoor pool was not actually working and the room was so musty smelling we couldn't take after about 10 minutes. We turned right around and put... More

Musty smelling, poor service, staff not helpful or friendly. Dirty railings on stairways, dirty towels. Tub drain SLOW. Would not stay here again - ever!

This gem in the heart of the Berkshires provides great value. It offers continental breakfast, a pool , and fitness room all for a very reasonable price. I have stayed at many inns in the Berkshires and most are priced much higher and offer less. They also allow guests to stay one night on the weekend when available which is... More

I came here with my friends for a night. The rooms were clean and cool. The beds were comfy and cozy. The hotel was very convenient, only 10 mins away from the mall, spend our day shopping and has a night club at night. Most of all the atmosphere were extremely friendly. Overall good it was a good trip.

Stayed 2 nights there to visit my daughter in camp near by in Becket. The front desk people were very nice but everything in the hotel was old. The shower head was too low and there was low water pressure. The rooms needs to be updated and even the tv. I have been to hotels with flat screen tvs. My... More

We went up to check out the Tanglewood Music festival with the kids, found this hotel online. The hotel was clean, staff was really nice and the location made it easy to get around. We had a double, beds were nice, bathrooms were clean. The AC worked well. The kids enjoyed swimming in the pool. The staff helped us find... More

Don't stay at the Econolodge unless you have no other alternative. Our room was clean, but the whole place is so deteriorated, it is not a pleasant environment. The lobby smells, the help is often not at the front desk, the continental breakfast is poor. We paid $108 per night which is cheap for the area, but one can probably... More
