We booked two nights at this lovely Inn following a chaotic week with kids and grandkids on the Cape, and it turned out to be a fabulous choice. Our room was very pretty and perfectly appointed. The superior bed, linens, bath robes, towels and Annie Selke vegan products were very much appreciated. We loved that we could enjoy our complimentary evening cocktails on the delightful front porch, and the breakfasts were delicious and filling, which provided the fuel to get us through a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings the Berkshires have to offer. The staff was friendly and helpful, and Donna and Sarah in particular made our stay ever more pleasant. We will return when we’re in the area again!
After 6 days with our grandkids in the eastern part of the state and a sick dog needing multiple nighttime walks in the miserable weather of Memorial Day weekend, we needed peace, tranquility and pampering. We got all of those and more at 33 Main. The Decor not surprisingly was beautifully designed. Our pretty room, The Aster ( one of 2 dog friendly rooms) was large and relaxing with both shower and tub. Our hosts during our visit were Donna and Becca who were friendly and warm and cooked outstanding breakfasts. The inn is so well located and you can walk most places. We took our dog for a very scenic hike at Kennedy park. The 3 restaurants we ate at, Zinc, Alta and Brava were all top notch. We loved the inn’s overall ambiance so much that we’ve booked a 4 night stay in September. Zero complaints, only praise!…
This was our first time staying outside the house since the beginning of the pandemic. We felt very safe due to the clear protocols at 33 Main. Food: The included breakfast was delivered to our room right on time, and was delicious! We also stopped downstairs for the included happy hour, where we received a nice glass of wine and a personal charcuterie plate. Service: Everyone was extremely friendly, and also provided great recommendations for dining and activities in the area. Atmosphere: The decor has been recently updated, and felt bright and fresh. Our room was very clean, with a comfortable mattress and a nice view of Main Street. The location was also a plus, as we could easily walk to all of the shops / restaurants we wanted to visit in Lenox. We highly recommend 33 Main and will definitely come back ourselves.…
This was a great getaway place to stay during COVID. Both the public space and room were immaculately clean. The The room we were in was beautifully decorated, though a bit small. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The inn was helpful in recommending a fabulous restaurant for dinner.
My husband and I stayed here as a weekend get away. I couldn’t recommend it more! The Inn is absolutely beautifully appointed and well situated in downtown Lenox. The bed was very comfortable and we loved our room, Sunnyholm. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. Each morning we had a delicious breakfast in our room and had a happy hour glass of wine. Everyone took COVID precautions seriously, which we really appreciated. We can’t wait to come back to Lenox and stay here again!
33 Main was everything we were looking for. Lovely, homey environment with gorgeous, tasteful decor, charming staff and delicious breakfasts. Loved the cocktail hour, too. Careful Covid restrictions didn't interfere with enjoying the space and interacting with other guests. Well done!! We look forward to our next visit. P.S. Many area stores (Lenox, Lee, Stockbridge, Great Barrington) are closed or have limited hours; many didn't open until Thursday. Plan accordingly, if this is important to you.
Fall weekend in the Berkshires. Every staff member went out of their way to make this an excellent stay- above and beyond. They made cookies special for us. The breakfast was terrific. The bed was most comfortable ever. We would absolutely come back.
We really enjoyed 3 nights here. The room (Sunset) was updated and charming. The staff were all friendly (with a particular note to Claire) and very accommodating. We felt the COVID protocols were very strong and we appreciated their concern for our, and their, safety. We loved the cocktails & apps in the early evening and sat outside looking at some magnificently colored trees. Breakfast was delicious and totally personalized to our requests. We have been to Lenox 6 times and have tried a new place each time but we have finally found the place we will be returning to on our next visit.
My wife and I spent the first night of a mini-vacation to view New England's fall foliage and we're so glad to have stayed at 33 Main, which was outstanding in every imaginable way. We tend to prefer boutique inns and Annie Selke's great furnishings and touches makes this a perfect spot, right in the heart of town. Our room - we were in Aster on the first floor - was a great size with a giant private bathroom. The room as well as all of the common rooms are decorated in great taste... modern, yet cozy. And that breakfast! Ours was eggs, bacon, blueberry muffin, fruit salad, and maybe the best croissant I've ever eaten. (And the afternoon glass of wine was also a nice touch.)
5 Stars all around! We booked 2 nights at 33 Main because we were "celebrating" our postponed wedding weekend. While we weren't able to get married this year due to Covid-19 we still wanted to commemorate the weekend with something special and 33 Main really went above and beyond our expectations. We were greeted at the inn by Claire, she showed us to our beautiful room. There were gifts from friends waiting for us as well as a generous gift from the inn (champagne and custom 33 Main cheese board). The room was immaculate, and spacious. Really well decorated, as we had hoped. This was our first time staying at a B&B and we chose 33 Main specifically because the style was more modern than other inns we researched. The room was stocked with everything we needed - tons of towels, robes, toiletries, steamer, blow dryer, etc. The location of the inn was also ideal - centrally located to all the Berkshies has to offer in the summer. Being in the center of Lenox was perfect for our first night as we were tired from a hike and didn't want to go far for dinner. Lenox has plenty of great options for food. We ate outside at Frankie's, an Italian restaurant down the road, and had a great time. Other guests at the inn were super respectful - I'm a light sleeper and never heard any noise coming from other rooms or common areas. In the morning we had delicious breakfasts on the side porch and were the only one's in there for most of our time. We loved the personal touches like individual french presses of coffee, so cool! Our friends also gifted us a fantastic picnic prepared by 33 Main, which we enjoyed for lunch one day at Olivia's Outlook. The picnic was HUGE, and packed full of amazing treats. I definitely recommend splurging on one if you want a unique outdoor lunch. Finally - my fiance and I both felt the inn handled running a B&B in the time of Covid-19 exceptionally well. We have no point of comparison but at no point during our stay did we feel like we were taking unnecessary risk. Everyone was wearing a mask, hand sanitizer in all common spaces, options to take breakfast in room, locked entrances to the inn. Fantastic stay, recommending to everyone we know, can't wait to come back!…
