Had often gone by here & thought this looks cute, maybe someday I'll stay there. It was almost as nice as hoped. Requested a 2nd floor with lakeview & it was worth the ask. Comfy bed, nice sofa, adequate desk area. The balcony & view was nice, can imagine that in the spring/summer it's wonderful. Overall very quiet, & couldn't hear any of the other guests. (My specific room was over the breakfast area & the first morning the chairs getting set was loud.) There were a couple of facilities issues that I mentioned to the desk at check out. He said he'd get right on them - including defrosting the fridge! Be aware that the inn wifi is not secure, so have a way to get to a secure one if necessary. The location can't be beat for the Berkshires. Will add it to the return list.

Everything was just perfect. The lake is amazing, we did some kayak (you can bring your own), and what a great time we had. Staff was very helpful. Room very clean and new. Breakfast was good. I’m trying hard to find something to complain about but I just can’t ;)

Great hotel! We had two lakefront queen rooms, which were very clean and well appointed. We really enjoyed the balcony overlooking the lake. The hotel was quiet and breakfast was very good. It is especially nice since the breakfast room also overlooks the lake. The staff also could not have been nicer! This will be our go-to spot in the area.

Beautiful, clean place. Even iced over, it was enjoyable to sit down for the free breakfast and see the lake. Great breakfast, great stay, friendly, helpful staff. Two miles off the Mass Turnpike. Convenient for the night, with great atmosphere.

Beautiful hotel, great staff, rooms are clean and neat, great value for the money! I dined at the restaurant last night, the food was exceptional. The location is on a beautiful lake setting with decks that overlooks the water. I can’t wait to see it in the summertime when I return.

Happy to return to the Black Swan, my fourth stay in several years (would be more but derailed by COVID). I discovered this hotel when I wanted to spend time in the Berkshires. Love the lake front rooms with a peaceful view of Laurel Lake. Perfect location to see all the Berkshire towns and even into southern Vermont. Excellent restaurant onsite with delicious Indian cuisine

I came to Massachusetts as a traveling Nurse. I picked the Black Swan initially because I was looking for a hotel I could stay with my 2 small dogs. I drove from NM and on my trip here, I stayed at 4 other hotels that allowed dogs. Each hotel was either a chain or a private hotel but no two were owned by the same company. All of the hotels had me sign a contract for my dogs. What was different about The Black Swan is that I promised to tell them if my dogs had an accident inside so their staff could clean it appropriately. The difference this made in the quality of room I got was tremendous. All the other hotels I stayed in smelled of dog urine. I asked for new rooms because my dogs are very well trained and don't have accidents. They had rooms that were saved for dogs. They all had some smell. If the Black Swan uses the certain rooms for dogs, I could not tell. My room was spotless! There was no smell at all! In the other hotel rooms my dogs smelled every inch of the rooms. This room, nothing. My dogs couldn't even smell signs of other dogs! The Black Swan is beautiful and clean and sits beside a beautiful lake. The staff is very nice an accommodating. I am really enjoying my stay here. I am here for a few weeks so I'm glad it's such a nice comfortable place to stay. I definitely recommend staying here even if you don't have dogs.…

Very happy with our stay. Great location, clean, spacious room, friendly staffs, close to shopping areas and local sightseeing. We stayed in lake view room which has the beautiful view especially of sunset. Our dogs were happy too!! Delicious Indian restaurant in the hotel. Highly recommend this place !! Great value for money

This Inn was great. We actually received a text to let us know our room was available earlier then expected. The room was very clean and warm. The location was perfect for the event we were attending. The grounds were lovely as it is situated on a lake. We were offered an adequate complimentary breakfast. We definitely would recommend this Inn if you are visiting Lenox!
