We called with little advance to reserve three sites- 1 camper and 2 tent sites, including 10 adults and 3 dogs - that were close enough for our family to be together. They were able to find us some spots that were close enough for such short notice and one was just perfect for us all to gather at. It was nice not to see campers on top of each other at this campground. It was laid out beautifully with plenty of woods around. We had a blast in the pool after a nice hike Mount Greylock which was a short drive away. Gordon and his staff made us feel so welcome and taking time to crack a few jokes and share stories. The bathroom and shower area were clean and nice. We broke part of our septic nozzle on the way out and didn't know how we were going to get the poop out and Gordon came over and helped us out. Even took charge of the hose and showed my husband a thing or two while suggesting to him "more fiber in his diet." lol. Little words of encouragement and humor turned a stinky situation into a manageable one. It ended up being a great family experience and we highly recommend this campground.…
We loved our stay at Mt. Greylock Campground Park. The owners make you feel like you’re at home. Gordon helped us with lights when we arrived late and had to park our rental motor home. They were so willing to help in anyway to make our stay pleasant! We needed eggs for a birthday cake and he gave them to us from his own kitchen! Great rec room with pool table, pong, air hockey, foosball, board games, puzzles and even a toddler kitchen. The dirt roads help keep the woodsy natural feel. We were able to bike around the campground even though it’s a little hilly. We hiked the hopper trail to the top of Greylock. 4 mi round trip.beautiful views! The terrain is rocky so we had to watch our footing but otherwise easy for my family (8, 10 years old.) The showers were nice and hot and great pressure. We will be returning!…
Lovely well maintained park with spacious sites in natural settings. Nice clean restrooms/common areas. Great place to unwind and enjoy the nature all around. Beautiful new playgrounds for kids and a well maintained pool.
We stayed at Mt Greylock as a launch pad for our new small RV. We were nervous given that we had never pulled a trailer before so we chose a place fairly close to home.. The front desk was well run. We were given a phone number to call 24 hours a day if there was any problem. The sites were set in the woods enough to have the feeling of privacy. The grounds and facilities were well kept and the campground was quiet, The location was good. It is set very close to the Mount Greylock visitors center and was a reasonable drive to Williamstown's shops and restaurants. I was very pleased and will visit again.
This was a great stop on our way home from our Finger Lakes adventure. It was one of the best campgrounds on our trip! The sites were spacious, private, quiet and wooded. Gordon was out doing his rounds and stopped to see if everything was to our liking. We told him we would actually like to cancel our next stop and extend our visit at Greylock...within an hour he was back to let us know that he had made it happen! If we are ever back in their "neck of the woods" we will definitely enjoy a repeat visit...perhaps for a few days longer! Cathy and Mike
Mt. Greylock Campsite Park is a wonderful place to stay. The location is perfect for visiting all of the great places to see in the area. The campsites are wonderful (with that state-park vibe), and the owners are amazing!
First time in 12 years I went camping and I loved it. Our campsite was absolutely beautiful in front of a pond slept well and had a great bonfire. I really enjoyed using the pool. The owners are so nice and the staff is very friendly and helpful this brought back lots of great memories. Thank you so much for a great stay and will definitely be back for many more stays.
We stayed at Mt Greylock for 3 nights. This campground was our favorite (2 adults and 2 children ). Sites are large and private. Lots of trees between sites. Pool was very clean and we did our laundry there as well, which was also clean. We hiked up Mt Greylock and the visitor center is only 1.5 miles away. Eat at Lakeside grill, best lobster roll!
We had a great experience staying at Mt Greylock Campsite park. The entire park was very clean. Camp sites were spaced out well and the area is very wooded. The owners are super nice and accommodating.
Husband and I are only into our second year camping in our 24ft class C Winnie Minnie. Found this campground online and looked great. Stayed July 22-26. They picked the spot for us since it was our first time and let me tell you, it was fantastic, I told them kinda where we wanted to be and they nailed it. Owners are wonderful hosts and the campground is very well kept and in a beautiful wooded setting. I even took part in card making with the ladies, had a blast. We had an issue with our plumbing and Pat the owner directed us to the local plumber who happened to be at the campground. He has the part we needed and hubby fixed the problem. Enjoyed the rest of our stay. Decided to hike Mt Greylock as suggested by the owners on our way out of town. at the end of our hike we realized we’d locked our selves out of the RV ( ugh ) anyways, I called AAA and they were no help so I decided to call the campground, Pat actually called the locksmith for me and within the hour we were back in our RV. We will be returning to Mt Greylock campground next year for sure !!!!…
