Two nights at The Inn at Castle Hill on the Crane Estate ... the beach at sunrise and sunset, lovely trails through the woods and marshes, a well appointed room, rocking chairs on the porch and beach chairs to take along with you, unobtrusive but helpful staff, fresh flowers from their own gardens, and we sat down and were served a delicious breakfast. Why did we ever leave?
From the fragrant flowers in the parking area to the sumptuous breakfast with majestic views - everything you hope for from an Inn. Best perks: To stroll the Crane Estate outside of normal visiting hours and a beach pass to the renowned Crane Beach.
Perfect in every way. It was a solo, restorative, reflective, long weekend and this beautiful location was ideal. From delicious breakfasts, attentive staff, well appointed rooms, views, sights, sounds; it was peace, serenity, and everything I needed. Despite the torrential rains and 20+ mph winds, I loved my weekend alone at this Inn. I’d love to return with my partner.
This property gives you full access to the entire Crane estate and Crane Beach. Our room was lovely and comfortable with a view across the daffodil-lined stone wall past the marsh and out to the sea. The reading nook in our room by the window brought pleasure after a morning at the beach, too chilly still to swim but perfect for long walks on the sand and a beach picnic with hardly any other people there. Also great breakfasts and a very gracious staff. With many trails to explore on the property, we plan to return to this wonderful place and highly recommend it to anyone who wants some restorative time in the beauty of nature.
What a wonderful place to stay. Lovely inn, gracious staff, beautiful views, lots to do and see in the area. Great place to unwind. We appreciated all the Covid care and precautions. And took advantage of the loaner bikes.
