I was very disappointed to see how unfinished the hotel was and would have liked to know before I made reservations. The hot tub was closed, parts of the room were unfinished and the continental breakfast was basically just coffee. Our room also had ants and even after notifying the front desk, nothing was done about it. I wanted to like this place, but there were so many little things that annoyed me. There was only half a roll of toilet paper in our room. A desk on our balcony. No safety signage on the back of the door. The worst part of our stay was at check in when the employee asked for my id. When I handed it to him he made a joke about it being a picture from 20 years ago (it wasn’t by the way, it was a year old). I have a pretty good sense of humor but this man crossed a line and it was just rude. I will not be back and regret having stayed at all.

After being double booked, they upgraded our room at no extra charge. You are within a couple minute walk of good food and the ferry to bring you to the islands. You can’t beat the location for the price!

The hotel was musty air conditioner was barely working. Even with our constant trip to the front desk ...... they continued to tell us it was working fine 😡 The bathroom vent was not working and hanging from the wall. Overall cleanliness was very poor Would not recommend staying at this property

The hotel is undergoing serious renovations and still taking in guests. The room I was placed in was already renovated but they were tearing up the carpet in the hallway during our stay. My issue was that the concierge staff took it upon themselves to access my booking reservation to get my cell phone number to text me about things NOT related to my stay. Two numbers texted me and it was obvious it was for personal reasons. It makes you think of what other information they might access in your booking record, like your credit card that they take for incidentals or your home address. I reached out to the corporate company (Choice Hotels) several times about this breach in privacy and obvious predatory behavior and they have yet to return my emails or phone calls. I would NOT recommend staying here.
