Detailed Reviews
The hosts were charming and very attentive. They were especially sensitive to dietary requests, which was greatly appreciated. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the location is great - in a quiet neighborhood that is close to the Nantucket/Martha's Vineyard ferries, restaurants and tourist sights.

The hosts were very attentive in preparation for and during our visit. They provided dietary accommodations at breakfast, gave us directions and helpful suggestions for the area. They also gave us plenty of privacy as we came and went each day. Our guest room was charming- well decorated, extremely comfortable, and the rest of the house was well designed - e.g.,breakfast inside or on the front porch depending on preference and weather. The location just outside of downtown was still quite convenient on foot and it was a stone's throw to the beaches as well. I would absolutely recommend The Hillcrest.

My husband & I enjoyed a wonderful 2 night stay in the charming Hillcrest B & B. Linda & David were wonderful hosts who provided many nice personal touches. The breakfasts were delicious & especially enjoyable seated outside on the lovely porch. The location is very convenient with a pleasant beach just a short walk away. We stayed in the Blueberry Patch room which was comfortable & nicely appointed. Before we left, we had already booked another stay!

Had a wonderful stay at Hillcrest B&B. Linda and David were great hosts and very helpful with info about local places. Hillcrest was close to the beach(chairs and towels available) and a short walk from downtown. We stayed in the Ocean Breeze room and were very happy with the accommodations. Breakfast was very good and the early coffee in the sitting room was appreciated. Highly recommend.

We had a great time staying at this beautiful B&B, within walking distance of where you catch the ferries to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. Linda and David are people that make you feel like you are right at home, breakfast was delicious and we loved having our coffee at their beautiful porch. Definitely recommend the Hillcrest B&B

We have just returned from our holiday in America, Cape Cod was our last stop. We have been extremely happy with all the places we have stayed at, so this had a lot to live up to, and it didn't disappoint. We were made to feel very welcome from the time we arrived to the time we left. Linda and David are a lovely couple, it was a pleasure just to sit with them and have a chat when we got back after a day out, We loved sitting on the front porch to have breakfast, which was always plentiful. There was coffee downstairs to help yourself to before breakfast, We also made use of the fridge to cool a bottle of wine, then sit outside and drink. We stayed in the Blueberry Patch room, as many reviews recommended it, it was spotlessly clean and very quiet.
All in all the perfect B&B.

Hillcrest B&B is a warm and welcoming place to stay and a great base to discover Cape Cod. The Blueberry Patch room was all we needed; its own private bathroom and a spacious, clean bedroom. There were complimentary bottles of water in the room, which was great as it was so hot when we stayed.
Guests were free to use a living-room area downstairs to relax in, which contained reading materials, comfy sofas and a fridge for keeping your wine in!
David and Linda were perfect hosts who were pleased to provide recommendations for places to eat and visit in the area. The breakfasts were generous and filling (the chocolate chip scones were amazing and accompanied us home so thanks to Linda and David!)
It was a pleasure to sit out on the porch in the sun every morning of our stay for breakfast and watch the humming birds in the flowers.
The B&B is close to a great beach at the bottom of the road, as well as the JFK memorial.
Walking into Hyannis Main Street takes around 30 minutes from the B&B but we discovered that there was a ‘trolley service’ which ran from the JFK memorial car park to Hyannis for only $2 per adult. I believe this only ran from June - early September, but it’s worth a look to see if it’s running at other times as we found it really useful.

A group of college friends and I visited one of our buddies working in Hyannis, and stayed 2 nights. Aside from the fact that Linda and David's place is impeccably clean & cozy, located close to Main Street and many beaches, etc., it was their warmth, humor, and genuine care that made the trip even better than we could have hoped for. It's not often you hit it off so quickly (again, we only stayed 2 nights) with a host/hosts, but within a few minutes I felt like I had been coming to The Hillcrest for years.
They go out of their way to take each guests' interests, dietary restrictions, likes/dislikes into account. They cook a wonderful breakfast each morning (a combo of quiche, homemade pancakes, muffins, toast, fresh fruit, coffee, juice, tea, oatmeal) that will start your day off right.
The rooms are clean, well-decorated, and inviting.
Overall, great people, great area, great house. There's no reason not to stay here if you're visiting the Cape.

David and Linda were welcoming, friendly hosts of their charming B+B. The Aussie flag was flying just for us on arrival. We had 2 rooms, both with their own bathrooms, amply supplied with linen and toiletries. The bedrooms were clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. We had overhead fans and A/C if needed. The house is walking distance to the village and David and Linda gave us great tips on what to see in the area and where to eat. Highlights of the trip were our wonderful home cooked breakfasts -so generous. David and Linda also looked after me with facilities to have a cup of tea in the evening. Their lounge area and outside patio are lovely to sit in and the garden is delightful. We were sorry to leave - we could of had a few more days here! Thanks for the wonderful stay David and Linda - hopefully we can stay another time.

My husband and I spent two nights here on a recent trip to the cape. The house was very well priced and so very beautiful. The hosts were friendly, and very knowledgeable. Breakfast was delicious. Hyannis is great for catching ferries, but I would suggest traveling to other towns for sightseeing.

Hi,
I am sure about the room situation our room could just fit in one queen size bed, you are best contacting Linda Bennett direct at the Hillcrest (sorry i have just tried to send you the e-mail address but it won't let me include this in my reply to you.
The B&B is in a great location to walk to the ferry, i can't actually remember the prices for Nantucket but you will love it there i am sure, Linda would be able to let you know this information. I don't recall seeing any animals at the Hillcrest but we were hardly there as we spent our time in Nantucket and Marthas Vinyard.
Have a great time.
