This family-owned business provided excellent customer service and accommodations for my family and I. They were super responsive if anything came up. Expectations for guests were clearly communicated through various signages and instructions within the rooms, especially due to COVID-19. The space was very comfortable and clean. The property was also conveniently located in a quiet location in proximity to Hull's restaurants and Nantasket Beach (which were our main attractions for this two night stay). Highly recommend!
This was a beautiful home. Very clean. The only thing that would’ve been nice is if it was an adults only. We did a getaway weekend to get away from our 4 kids. The first night was quiet. The second night had 2 families with loud small kids. Unfortunately the house is not sound proof. We want to try their other property next time.
The Beacon Luxury Waterfront Inn is very spacious, clean and crisp. The decor is "beach resort". Our room was very spacious with a nice balcony that faced the water. Breakfast is very limited, not what one usually receives at a Luxury Inn. There is no one to greet you or explain the facility. The entry is through an emailed passcode and there are notes with your key left on the counter.
We were in the process of moving from the village next to hull MA to Hull MA. Everything was packed and we needed some serenity on the night before the BIG move. We had never heard of the beacon prior to seeing on Facebook. Great secret find. Convenient water ferries to Boston from Hull & neighboring Hingham. A variety of many restaurants within minutes as well as the ocean. Lovely Inn ...so easy ...never even met an employee.
The Beacon Waterfront is a well managed, well furnished B&B. It is clean, quiet and affords access to both Boston and the Cape. Train, ferry and roads are all close. My room was large and comfortable. A modest but serviceable serve-yourself breakfast is included. Although not inexpensive, the Beacon Waterfront is cost competitive for the area and is more economical than many local hotels. Ideal for singles or couples. Strongly recommend.
On the positive side, this Inn is beautifully decorated and has lovely communal living space. Unfortunately, the service lets it down. We booked a combination of rooms (two kings with bathroom) that was sold as being for 5 people. We are a family of 5 so intentionally take time to seek out properties that cater for 5 or more. Each room just had a king bed. I had received a text from the owner the morning of arrival with door code instructions, so tried to call him to inquire where the 5th person is supposed to sleep. I left a voicemail and my call was not returned the entire 3-night stay. I then texted and received a series of curt replies that explained there was no fifth bed, no they did not have a rollaway bed, nor a couch or sofa. I then spoke to a worker on the…
We just left this marvelous B&B yesterday. I did not have time until this morning to do my review, but when I logged in to do so I was astounded to see a negative of any type regarding them. I read the negative review, and was amazed. We found everything here top drawer. The breakfasts were lovely: delicious muffins, bagels, fresh fruit, multiple varieties of yogurts, breakfast sandwiches and waffles in the freezer if you wanted, jellies, several varieties of cream cheese, juices, cereal and oatmeal. We were an after hours arrival, and when we arrived we discovered fresh fruit the coffee machine etc there if we had wanted. There was a basket of snacks in our room and a posting to help ourselves. We found the owners delightful and enjoyed their insights to the area. Our…
To start, the room and the property are near perfect. My family booked the king suite with the pull out bed option. The room was huge, had a very large walk in closet, sectioned bathroom and a balcony with seating facing the water. It is great to have access to the kitchen, continental breakfast and lower balcony/yard as well as off street parking. The only issue was we never received an access code to the building and as we arrived after 6, there was no staff available to help us. We luckily came in as another guest was leaving and they explained where our keys were and what the code was. The booking reservation only had an international number to Singapore so we hesitated to call. Other than that small hiccup everything was great and I would highly recommend this inn.
To our surprise, what a find, what a price on the offseason! We were lodging in the Showboat room, which has a sofa bed couch and queen bed. We had a lovely slider to the outside with a view of the water. Everything was pristine and beautiful. We enjoyed our delicious continental breakfast and coffee. The sad thing was we could only enjoy this lovely inn for one night.
We stayed one night in the Atlantic Room, and it was amazing! The room was spacious, with the biggest closet I have ever seen in an inn or hotel. The bathroom had a nice jacuzzi for two and was perfect after a busy day of hiking. We had a nice view of the bay, and got to watch a racoon search for food along the water. For breakfast we only had the muffins and yogurt, but they were delicious! We highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.
