This place is NOT a resort. It is a rip-off for any wedding guest that stays there at the hotel!!!!!!! Stay a mile away... The cost is too high for the uncomfortable heating/air conditioning unit and requiring a two night minimum when they have weddings. 1) There is no breakfast, bar, lunch, snacks, or dinner available. 2) The rooms have window heaters/air conditioners that are loud and blow on you while you are lying in bed. (Holiday Inn, Best Western type). 3) The bathroom exhaust fan is super loud and there is only one (1) hook for your wet towel for a room that accommodates four (4). 4) Lots of road noise!!! The room with an ocean view is over a road NOT the ocean. I think the pictures of the place are extremely deceiving.

Hair in shower and on floor along with Bobby pins. Climate control went from freezing to hot. Filters in that unit VERY dirty. With the virus worries they should have been clean. Especially poor in room coffee, none offered elsewhere in hotel, and a fair walk to get some, parking not so accessible for handicapped. For the weekend price, not what we expected in the cleanliness dept. Staff were nice though. Our room not serviced as of 2:45pm.

I had my wedding here this year. The entire process was so complicated from the hotel constantly changing pricing to not choosing a food vendor until extremely close to my wedding date. The food vendors didn’t even provide the correct beef meal my husband and I selected at our tasting. Staff members went in and out of my bridal suite and concierge gave out my room key without prior approval. This resulted items going missing, like the 3 foot bow to my wedding dress and my outfit I got ready in, which the hotel refused to take any responsibility for. Not only did items go missing from my room, but another one of my guest’s rooms too. We called within 36 hours to report the missing items but was told the hotel claims no responsibility for ‘lost items.’ Clearly there’s a security issue within this establishment. My night itself was fun but I credit that to the people we invited and the outside vendors we hired. The location is nice and photos came out beautifully, but I would not let that be your selling point to choose this venue.

Waste of money. The people in the room next door were smoking on their balcony which went into our room. The sheets and pillowcases were ripped and stained. The staff at the desk told us we had to drive to a convenience store to get bottled water. The pool and hot tub area were absolutely filthy, and not a single towel to be had. This place is charging you for the proximity to the beach. The double rooms are tiny. The bathroom is tiny. Even the toilet paper is cheap. The pillows are cheap. They have managed to charge luxury hotel prices for motel type services. Although motels actually have ice machines and bottled water. Save your money and stay somewhere else. $600 for a room I wouldn’t have stayed in for free. And all of this was brought to the attention of management. I waited a full month and a half for a response before writing this review.

We stayed here Aug 2 through Aug 6, 2021. I have no way of explaining it, but Nantasket Beach and the Nantasket Beach Resort are both kind of magical to me. When I was a kid, (late 1960's / early 1970's) my Aunt used to rent a "cottage" that was on the land where the Nantasket Beach Resort is located. It was never anywhere as nice as the Nantasket Beach Resort. Our stay was a bit of reminiscing and a lot of looking at how Nantasket & the Town of Hull have changed. We stayed at the NBR back in 2018 prior to ownership by the Newport Hotel Group. We can say that the property has been greatly improved with the new ownership. Unfortunately due to the on-going "Covid-19" issues, the hotel is not operating at 100%. The on-site restaurant and bar are not open, but fortunately there are 7 or 8 reasonably good restaurants within a maximum of a 5 minute walk. We were very surprised and pleased that even under the circumstances of Covid-19, they were still offering daily housekeeping (kudo's to the staff). Bottom line, we very much enjoyed our stay at Nantasket Beach Resort.
