The hotel was clean with a great view and the staff very friendly. Our room was nice small balcony good size bathroom with great woterpressure. In my opinon the resort fee is unresonable it includes parking and the parking is inconvenient; not at the hotel. The hotel name is "Beach Resort" yet they do not have beach towels or chairs. This would be a nice add to the resort fee. They have a spa, you would not know it. I would have enjoyed time at the spa, found out too late. On site restaurant Shoreline Kitchen and Bar is new. The staff is enthusiastic and hustles. We especially enjoyed the smash burger and the roasted pork belly.

The hotel was recommended by a friend. It’s directly across the street from the beach. The beach is long and has several visitors even during the week. The lobby has recently been updated. It’s clean with tasteful nautical decor. The restaurant and bar is lovely. It was well staffed. We stayed in King with a balcony overlooking the water. It’s so peaceful. However, the balconies are really close together and there isn’t any dividers. We were on the end so it wasn’t that bad. The hotel has two buildings connected by a breeze way. It’s very maze like but clean with tasteful nautical themed decor. The halls are not air conditioned in the main building. You will need a luggage cart if you are staying in the second building. You have to up from the lobby, cross the breezeway (all enclosed) to get to the other building and then go down the elevator. Many parking options. This is not a resort. It only offers a super small indoor pool and small outdoor space. It’s on a busy main road. It’s walking distance to tons of restaurants and the beach. You will Need to provide your own chairs. The lobby had a funky smell but the hallways and room were very clean. Check for coffee mugs. Our room had coffee but no mugs or cups.

Room Tip: Try to get a corner room balcony since there isn’t privacy between the outdoor spaces. It’s a lot...

My fiancé was very excited to surprise me with a weekend getaway to this hotel. Definitely not worth the price, but I was excited to get awaty. On the second night, I took my diamond ring off to put on hand lotion, and knocked it off the bathroom vanity when I reached to put it back on. Then I couldn't find it. We searched through every nook and cranny of the bathroom, including the sink, toilet, even getting desperate enough to check under the soap at one point. When following the direction I knocked the ring, imagine my surprise to find a large gaping hole in the wall next to the sink. Large enough to stick your arm through, but not large enough to see much past it. I've included photos of what I was able to see from trying to search with my phone's camera. We immediately called the front desk, who sent someone up who looked around the room and the hole. He eventually called maintenance, who did the same thing. They fished around but said they didn't find anything, and almost immediately started to question where I had lost the ring. The maintenance man said he would need to open the hole a bit to get a better look and would return in the morning. Over the course of the night we searched and searched that bathroom, getting more and more upset because that ring was very valuable and designed specifically for me. The next morning, no one ever came to follow up. We went to the front desk and were assured that they would be looking, but we were told we had to check out, and promised that they would keep us updated. I cried the entire way home. My fiancé and I called every day for the next week, and the manager was never "available to talk" and we were promised a call back. Day after day went by and no one ever called. Finally about a week later, I assume to stop our calls, someone called to say that they decided they weren't going to bother looking further for the ring, I must have lost it somewhere else. But they wanted to assure me they were "on my side". What does that even mean? I again asked to speak to a manager and they weren't "available to talk" and would call me back. I have since never received any calls. I had to start a claim with my insurance, and no one would call me back or provided any proof that I had reported the ring lost. The insurance company had to call directly to get a verbal answer. As someone that works in the service industry, I am appalled by the lack of any help provided by the hotel, and either the incompetence or cowardice of the management staff to even speak with me. The ring is either forever sitting in the wall of that bathroom, or in the pocket of an employee. The only thing I want is my ring back. I will always be sick when I think of this hotel. Do not stay here.

This hotel must have recently been remodeled. Rooms, halls and the lobby were beautiful. It also had a great deck on the roof with a wonderful view of the ocean. The employees were well trained and friendly!

We arrived at the “resort” around 3:30 for a 4:00 checkin. We were assigned a room in the main building because my wife has a problem making it painful to walk distances. The room wasn’t ready by 4:15 so they assigned us a room in the adjacent building. When I asked about a dinner reservation, I was informed that the dining room was closed for renovation. To add to the irritating disappointments, they never bothered to clean our room. The front desk staff was very nice and accommodating, but that is where the service ended. The room was facing a main street and the noise was relentless. The amenities were minimal with no water cups in the bathroom. To sum it up, this is not a resort.

PROS - the room was nicely decorated. That’s it! CONS - let me count the ways CUSTOMER SERVICE- Horrible- They down graded our reservation from a suite to a king room. Did not honor our request for our groups rooms to be near each other. They put us in different buildings. No apology, lame excuses. They didn’t even try to work with us. Their attitude was they were doing us a favor to let us stay here. And the hotel was almost empty. ROOMS- Very noisy- heavy traffic noise is extremely loud. Even the air conditioner on high could not drowned it out. The room was tiny. Balcony was about 3ft square (see picture). Did not open window because the screens had huge holes in them. View was from a 2ft wide window and we kept the drapes drawn to help keep the loud road noise out of the room. The ac/ heater unit had 2 choices- Roast or freeze, temperature control did not work. Ended up putting both the AC and the fireplace on to get a livable temperature. Floors and doors squeak so you wake up anyone in the room if you move about. BATHROOM- Tiny. Makes an old style ships bathroom look big. Rubber seals on the shower doors were warped so the floor was flooded after a shower. AMENITIES - what a joke. They charge a fee for nothing. The gym is a fishbowl. Exercise in front of floor to ceiling windows that face a very busy street and sidewalk. An indoor pool that when you open the door to the room your eyes water because of the heavy chlorine. Would not risk swimming in that many chemicals. NO SERVICES - looks like they are ready to sell some snacks and sundries but never got around to stocking it. No restaurant. no snack bar. All in all they turned a much awaited visit with friends and family into an experience in extreme frustration and disappointment. If after this reading this review you still choose to stay here I wish you the best of luck.

We stayed here for a night when we were visiting friends in the area. Great location on the beach and the hotel appears very clean, however we had a poor nights sleep due to the walls being paper thin; our next door neighbor was either up all night watching TV or left the TV on. Had to put in earplugs to get any sleep at all.

Let me say first the resort’s staff are very nice and helpful. The traditional rooms are small. I stayed in one. They advertise their fireplace in each room but it didn’t work. I tried to call the front desk to report it but there wasn’t a list of numbers for the hotel in the room anywhere. Attached is a picture of the plumbing in the bathroom under the sink. There was at least a 12x6 hole around the pipes going to the faucet. They have an $18 per day amenity fee. This is for the use of the pool, WI-FI and other services offered. No information in the room on their WIFI and how to get on to it, the pool or any other services offered. I tried dialing 0 in hopes it would connect me to the front desk but no answer. The view for the traditional room was of the street if you are able to see through the dirt that was on the window. Very noisy between the vehicles going by and the kids on the floor I on. The kids running and screaming in the hall. The walls are paper thin so the noise was heard when they finally got into their room. I was kept up until 2 AM. I could not call the front desk earlier to ask them to quiet down so unfortunately not much sleeping being done.
