My partner and I stayed in the Elm Suite for one week in October 2015 while using the Pioneer Valley as a home base for our Massachusetts vacation. I had selected this property many months before based on positive comments on TripAdvisor and elsewhere. Our experience was that The Old Mill Inn not only lives up to its hype but... More

The best part of this inn is its beautiful setting, a former grist mill (as well as a newspaper entity, offices, and more) set right next to a waterfall. On a beautiful fall day, it was spectacular. The innkeepers keep goats (to trim their grass) and chickens in the back of the inn, which are fun to look at. The... More

Stayed overnight here two nights ago. Lovely Innkeepers, charming inn. Funky rooms in a refurbished mill......quaint. Breakfast delicious. The inn is right on the river in a neighborhood setting. Nice and quiet, but not greatly convenient location. Innkeepers gave us great dinner recommendations. Lovely stay

Me and a friend found this charming place by googling the surrounding area for a place to stay overnight. We are happy that we did. This historic building, which was never a residential building, has been transformed into a lovely, quaint BnB. George was very pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast deserves 5 stars.

We loved our stay at this charming old inn. The rooms are a little rustic and the neighborhood is not at all touristy but the helpful staff and good full breakfast more than compensated for any facility issues. If possible ask for a room on the first floor since there is a nice patio overlooking the river flowing over the... More

My daughter got married (an amazing wonderful experience) and the entire wedding party stayed at the Inn and everyone had a great time. It was so relaxing. The rooms were very nicely decorated and extremely comfortable. Very high ceilings. The lower level suite was enormous. It had plenty of room for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready for the... We were greeted warmly by our host and taken to a charming room. Perhaps a little on the small side, but still had everything we might need and then some. Bath was quite spacious and frankly that's more important to me anyway. Loved the Keurig coffee maker in the room! Now for the best part...breakfast!! Absolutely incredible! Stuffed blueberry french... More

The setting is beautiful and very calming. However, upon arriving we were unable to find a door to enter and spent a bit of time trying to find someone to check us in and locate our room. A sign on the front door would have been helpful. The room was well decorated , the bed extremely comfortable, and the bathroom the... More

We chose the inn because of its clear charm and its reasonable proximity to Tanglewood, where we were headed for the evening. We also chose it for its relative affordability. We have an 11 month old baby, and we were excited to get away for an overnight together and we were very excited (perhaps a little too excited) to sleep... More

We are sorry the rooster disturbed your sleep, but glad you otherwise enjoyed your stay. Most of our guests love the chickens, adding charm to our bucolic setting. When we ordered 10 female chicks last spring they must have thrown in a baby rooster for free -- which we just discovered last week as he began practicing his crowing. We... More

The Old Mill Inn is a comfortable b&b with a very attentive host and a delicious breakfast. We had a wonderful stay in the room, and we loved the charm and architecture of the building. Most b&b's aren't comfortable with having preschoolers around (our four year old) and we were so glad that the inn was not only accommodating but... More
