This was our first time visiting Cape Cod. We were celebrating our anniversary and this Inn was perfect! It had everything I was looking for with location and water/beach view. We stayed in the Beach House and absolutely loved it! Very clean rooms and immaculate property. Staff were very friendly as well. Continental Breakfast was great. Glad we picked Harwich as a location because you’re in middle of the Cape. We had a wonderful week and didn’t want to leave. Thanks for everything.

I had the room with the balcony overlooking the beach and it was a peaceful, heavenly choice. I highly recommend. I was only there for a weekend for a family wedding but I would return again if my travels take me back to Cape Cod, and I would stay longer. It's a great place to relax. Rooms Recent updates with comfortable, contemporary furnishings, great closet space, and several storage drawers in bathroom to unpack toiletries into, which all help make you feel at home. Room was very clean. Fresh, light & beachy color scheme helps you relax. The only convenience missing from the room is a coffee/tea maker for that first cup before going to the dining room for their lovely breakfast (If this app let me, I would have only deducted 1/2 a star for this). The sizeable in-room fridge is a big help though. The bed is comfy, as are the pillows, and if you don't fall asleep right away, there is a flat screen tv on the wall that you can swivel toward the bed. So, all-in-all, a very cute, comfy place to stay. Safety: Electronic locks at both the main entry and the guest room adds an extra level of security. Due to early morning flights, I arrived early and they kindly & safely stored my suitcase while I waited on the beach for my room to be ready. Noteworthy: The owners and staff are very nice. Even though they are busy, they take the time to be friendly and accommodating. They make great use of text messaging to check to see if you need fresh towels, etc. Overall, you can tell they put great care into this lovely place.

I cannot say enough about Inn on the Beach! The location is amazing, you literally are on the beach! The rooms are immaculate, the beds are so comfortable and they are decorated in white Cape shabby chic. We booked 3 rooms for a family wedding nearby. We had 2 queen rooms and 1 king. All the rooms have a beach view and a private patio! You do not need to bring anything, beach towels and chairs are provided. The deck with sectional couches were the most comfortable things ever. There is a continental breakfast every morning from 8-10 AM in the sweetest room with a view of the ocean. You can also sit outside with plenty of seating. The owner Leslie was so nice and willing to help with anything you need. Highly recommend and will be returning!

I wasn't overly impressed with this inn considering the room was $600/night. The room was recently updated and very nice. The beach was clean and they provided chairs and umbrellas. The grounds were clean. There was enough parking for all the guests. I didn't like having to text the innkeeper each day by 11 AM for clean towels, and you have to be very specific about what you want them to do when they bring them (e.g. they didn't make the bed, clean the room, or leave extra soap). The continental breakfast was essentially store-bought muffins and coffee cake and a few other items. I was expecting fresh fruit, bagels english muffins, low fat yogurt, etc (I didn't expect hot food although a lot of the inns do provide it). No afternoon tea, lemonade, or snacks (which are typical for most inns). I would not stay at this inn again unless the prices were lower.

This place is all about access to the beach. Rooms are very average in size and amenities (altho there is a fridge) ,especially for the price. Amenities in general are skimpy- especially "breakfast," which did not include bread of any sort. A toaster and a few fresh bread items would have gone a long way. Bathroom amenities were not refreshed. Had to ask for fresh towels. Room cleaning also has to be requested. Guests are expected to set up their own chairs and umbrellas on the beach.

We’ve come here for several summers and have already booked for next year, 2025. This is the perfect Cape Cod vacation spot if you’re looking to relax on the beach, sit by a fire at night, stroll up to Main Street or explore nearby Chatham. The rooms are incredibly clean and comfortable. Room sizes vary, most are on the small side, but they have everything you need. We usually bring food for lunches on the beach and snacks for sitting on the deck by the fire at night. The beach front location is perfect! The owners and staff are amazing!

First, you can't beat the location. Literally just a couple miles to Chatham, Dennis Port and other coastal towns. Even 2 very good restaurants are within walking distance. Best of all is the Inn is literally just steps from the ocean on a very nice sandy beach. There is an extensive patio with numerous tables, sofas, umbrellas and fire pits.
Our room had views of the ocean on both sides. It was a little smaller than expected but then again we were only there for sleeping. Very clean and done in a very nice "coastal chic" design.
It's a quiet intimate atmosphere free of noise and really the only time you saw people was at breakfast. You can eat outside with views of the ocean.
It's a perfect little getaway place free of the touristy trappings and situated to maximize your stay and adventures. We will return.

The rooms at Inn on the Beach are indeed lovely: immaculate and beautifully decorated. (One minor comment would be that tissues should be provided, though.) The location is also great. We were less enthralled with the breakfast, which was only slightly better than that provided at a budget chain hotel. Surely a decent granola could be provided, rather than Kellogg's packaged breakfast cereals, let alone something hot or savory. Additionally, for the times that weather is not perfect (which is what we encountered), one would think that an inn would offer an indoor common room, but none was available here. We would suggest that the management consider making it possible to close off the office area so that guests could hang out in the lovely indoor breakfast space.

We stayed at this lovely little inn for four nights in July. The grounds are beautifully kept. The rooms are exquisitely appointed, and everything looked brand new...however they are very SMALL! -Measuring 10 ft by 15 ft. I was able to touch the ceiling and I am 5'5''. The bathroom is extremely tiny as well. The shower had a trickle of water coming out, so you will need to spend double the amount of time rinsing off. We had requested an extra blanket and more shampoo on day 3, which never came by late afternoon, so my husband had to go down to the coffee/laundry area to request another blanket. The continental breakfast was nice- hardboiled eggs, yogurt, fruit and cereal. The fire pits in the evening are a great touch. The private patio they advertise for each room is a small, enclosed, grassy fenced area adjacent to the parking lot. The beach/ocean view, to be realistic, is you needing to walk out of your room and past the parking lot. We would come again but probably stay in The Beach House rooms due to the small size of the regular rooms.

We knew very very little about Cape Cod… Hoped the Inn on the Beach would meet our needs - and it surely did. What a marvelous quiet clean charming spot! Met lovely folks to sit on the deck with from all over the country. Nothing better than the fire pits and watch the ocean in the evening. Breakfast was a simple selection of muffins, croissants, juice etc a continental breakfast with great coffee. No reason to sit in your room - go explore. We really enjoyed a visit to the Atwood Historical museum in Chatham.
