Not only is the location convenient, but they have everything under one roof. Not only do they have packaged items but they also make sandwiches and other meals freshly prepared. If you’re in the area and are in need of any type of grocery I highly recommend stopping into this location and also if looking for food to take on a hike or to a local park, I highly suggest this location.

I don’t mind a bit worn but I do mind dirty. I was disappointed that the pool had a lot of small bugs floating in it even after they cleaned it with the net. Someone said it was the change in seasons but I think the ongoing cleaning mechanism needs fixed or updated. It also felt quite cool based on the air temp of low 60’s and I was told it was kept between 78 and 80 year round…? Only 3 of the jets on the indoor tub were functioning, and were pretty feeble, and that room was pretty dirty in the corners.

The location is nice, and the room very functional although you could hear every word spoken in the hallway. I was looking for a great year-round pool and I didn’t find it, so doubt I will return.

The location is amazing. Can’t beat staying on the slopes, especially with kids. The staff is super friendly and everyone is helpful and kind.
The rooms….that’s another story. This was the nicest one we have stayed in so far, even with the view of the parking lot. The room wasn’t that clean upon check in. The toilet had hair and dried urine under the seat. The dishes were dirty and there were stains and hair over the blankets and comforters. There were a lot of goldfish and other snacks under the couch. The room needed a good cleaning. All their rooms are outdated, but this one was also a bit dirty.
I think this will be our last stay here. The pull out sofa is getting to be uncomfortable for the kids and it’s just becoming too pricey for what you get in return. I don’t mind outdated but I do mind dirty.
The room was quiet and the heating worked well.

The set-up is great...nice ski on-ski off, restaurant and bar in the lodge, pool and hot tub for the family and the mountain isn't crowded so you get a lot of runs. I give the management team credit for creating a good resort experience..movies for the kids, hot chocolate and coffee (with cookies in afternoon) in the lobby and a friendly staff. You can passed the fact the facility is on the older side. The lobby and common areas are still well maintained the rooms however are dated. You can live with dated rooms as you are there to ski. Not being clean is a big problem! When we checked in the first room assigned to us had no shower head, the tile on the entryway was cracked. They were very good and moved us to another room. We had two rooms as we have a large family. Both in building 5. The first sign of cleanliness issues was the dirty towels from the previous guests were still in the bathroom (hanging on the hooks behind the doors). The bed was made and room was straight but dirty towels. The next day we got back from skiing and the room hadn't been attended to. We went to the front desk and they said somehow it wasn't scheduled to be cleaned. They sent someone up and they did a quick wipe off of bathroom sinks and new towels. We then noticed the floors in all the halls weren't vacuumed and there were bags of trash and dirty linens left in the halls. We went to cook and the glass bowls were absolutely disgusting. They had been put back into the cabinet dirty. We went and asked if our room could be cleaned and they said they would do it. It became clear that housekeeping didn't have vacuums. In fact they didn't have the typical cleaning carts you would see in hotels/resorts. We went to use the bathroom by the exercise room, in the morning, and it was really dirty. The toilets had not been cleaned and the floor was disgusting. If you don't have a public bathroom cleaned in the AM there is no chance it is getting cleaned later. We left thinking the place could be ok if they had better management and focus on the basics. Again, dated rooms aren't a problem if they are clean.

A few tips if you are going: 1) check your room when you get in. Run the shower and see if the floors look clean. 2) I would look for rooms in building 1 or 2. 3) Stay on the highest floor. The ski boots and noises from inside/outside are rough. 4) Stop at the front desk each day and ensure your room is on the list to be cleaned.

First time at Country Inn, location is good, ski in-ski out, parking and chill down with pool and two jacuzzies after a long skiing day. Housekeeping needs an urgent process review, this is the worst part of the hotel. Rooms are dirty, smell bad, sheets were not washed, dishwasher not working. Before using the tableware you may want to know if it is clean, and the mattress is torture.

The hotel needs room maintenance. For the price, we were expecting a clean room.

Nice suite with small kitchen. Clean and well supplied. Did not go to restaurant, did take out in the room. We did a ski and stay package by calling the inn directly, good price because it included two days of skiing.

Yes, the hotel is in a great spot as far as access to the mountain in concerned, but that's really the ONLY positive thing about staying here. The entire hotel itself is EXTREMELY dated, every single part, and the rooms definitely show it. Peeling paint, awful mattress, carpet that REALLY grossed us out, broken outlets, hanging towel hooks, terrible Wi-fi (much of the time did not work at all) - even the lock on the room's door was broken. We just overall had a sense of the room being dirty, and I was honestly happy to leave, ho home, and take a shower. It's outrageous that the hotel is charging $350+ a night for such run down, low budget accommodations. This is what I'd expect from a side of the road $80 a night budget motel! Save your money and rent a beautiful house instead!

Jiminy Peak was an ideal place for our family of 6 to spend a long weekend. The 3-bedroom condo we stayed in had comfortable beds, beautiful views of the mountains, 2 baths, a full kitchen and a big sectional and dining table that was perfect for playing games, talking late into the night and enjoying quality time. The resort has rides and an adventure climbing course that was a challenge for my older teen and young adult kids. The condo and the property are clean and well maintained. The management is responsive to any issue that comes up. They even brought us laundry soap an hour before we left so my son could wash his clothes since he was going on another trip right after. JP is near all the Berkshires has to offer and is a destination on its own. It offers tennis, pools and a hot tub and a lovely bbq area where you can bring your own portable grill. What's not to like? We'll be back- maybe next time to leaf peep or ski! And if you are a couple or have small kids, you can stay in a one-bedroom in the Country Inn, which has an efficiency kitchen.

Jiminy peak is really beautiful in the fall. However, unknowingly we arrived for our event in the fall the same day the whole resort shut down for the season and there weren’t any food options. It took us about 30 mins each way when we left to get meals. I would recommend buying groceries and bringing them with you, or going at a different time of year so the restaurants are open.

A Saturday night stay after week at Vac. Village, an RCI Good Crown across street. I paid enough and there were plenty of rooms, but I was given room 229, which is next to pool, breezeway with vending, and exit doors from building (3 big noise sources). Ragged, torn and stained carpet, very disappointing kitchenette, and there was no comforter on bed! Had to call down to get one sent. It was left in bag with a knock on door. I lay down meanwhile, being exhausted. It is one of the hotel's units for prepaid bookers. I know this because I moved to a different unit, which was markedly better, but still overpriced at $200. I have bites on arms today, but can't be sure they're from furniture. I think they are.

Most places are using solid foam mattresse. This place too, although unit 113 has better mattress than 229. I brought a memory.foam top.to Vac. Village, which is far.superior to J. Peak. Greg is a two faced...

They have everything you may need, soap, shampoo and hair dryer. They also have a small market on site with beer ,wine and anything else you may need for your stay. They do have daily maid service. We enjoyed our stay.
