My husband, my 7-year-old daughter, and I took a trip to Great Barrington in early March for a long ski weekend. The Wainwright Inn was the perfect choice for us: very clean, lovely quaint decor, and overall pleasant place to stay. Our suite was spacious and reasonably priced, and the innkeepers were friendly, helpful with local info, and accommodating. Breakfast...

My husband and I recently stayed there for one night before skiing at butternut the next day. Perfect because it was so close! Everything was nice except it was a little cold in the room, esp the bathroom. The heat makes a strange noise and didn't seem to work very well. The fireplace on the room is lovely but didn't...

The Wainwright is a relaxing and homey place to stay. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is wonderful. Chris and Barb are delightful hosts. There is a large living room with comfy chairs to sit and relax. The Wainwright is just a short walk into town. Definitely a great B&B!!

My husband and I had never been to the Great Barrington area, so we found the Wainwright Inn online. The inn was easy to find and has close proximity to downtown. From the moment we entered, we were treated with warm hospitality. Our room was spacious, clean and decorated beautifully. We also had our own bathroom, which is a bonus....

My husband and I wanted to visit charming Great Barrington for a weekend. The Wainright Inn was the perfect spot: historic, romantic and perfectly appointed. We arrived in the evening and were greeted by a roaring fire in the parlor. The innkeepers, Barb and Chris, were most cordial and the "cooked to order breakfasts" couldn't have been better. The location...

From my first contact with Chris at the Wainwright Inn, the consideration we received was truly above the norm. He told me he would do his best to accommodate my request for an early arrival and he did so, letting me know early in the day of my arrival. Our room was lovely and immaculate, the bed comfortable and the...

I booked this for a quick visit to nearby Butternut Ski Resort (roughly 10 min away). The local reviews indicated this was a nice spot, convenient to local restaurants/shops, with a homey feel. I was not disappointed. Chris was very friendly and helpful (asking if I was familiar with the area, did I need any recommendations, did I know how...

Convenient location. Includes breakfast, which is delicious. The owners are thoughtful and truly care about the Inn and their guests. Ask about the history of its construction and prior uses. To help, they have made up a list of restaurants and food sources; their recommendations were A+. We will return.

Chris and Barb are wonderful hosts. The house has so much charm and is very inviting. We felt welcome and we're able to relax from our busy lives. I had a special dietary plan and they graciously accommodated breakfast for me. We would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast. We also will stay there again in the future.
