I've been coming here on and off over the past 8 years and have seen a real downturn in quality overall. this year, Greg didn't reserve me the dates I requested, although he said were "all set", and I was packed and ready to go from home when I received an email that my check- in was a day later. The deluxe cabin's ceiling is full of cobwebs and dust, and the smoke alarm has gone off every single time I've used the stove or oven! (it's not like I was burning anything, just low-key cooking stuff). the area around the pool needs some updating, and the mini-golf has gone WAY downhill since I started coming. Honestly, it's not worth .50, never mind the $4 a person. This place has always been my "go to", but I think it's time to look elsewhere.

After coming here for 15 years with friends and family, pulled the trigger and became seasonal. Love the amenities, the staff, and the friendly feel! Plenty of activities, great access to outside places, and a well kept, neat campground

The 'campsite' we rented was extremely small and full of rocks; we barely had enough space to put up our tent. The free wifi is extremely bad; I ran a speed test and it only went to 400 KB/S. We also had to wait until 2 PM to even get our cabin; leaving us to just look around for an hour at most, and then just sit around for another three. Overall a bad trip; definetely not worth the $60 a night.

Hi Timothy, I'm sorry, but I'm not sure that you have the right park. We only have one cabin that runs at a price of $60/night and that's only during the week after Labor Day. After checking my records no one that has stayed in that cabin during that time has arrived before check-in time, nor has anyone staying in that cabin also booked a tent campsite. If this review is perhaps from a much earlier date, I certainly apologize for any frustration, but we are not "deceptive" about anything, including the check-in time. Our check-in time is well-advertised on our map, in our brochure packet, and in multiple places on our website including the main page. Our check-out time isn't even until 11AM, so a 10AM arrival would have you coming in well before we have the chance to clean the cabin or even make sure the previous camper has vacated it, and we certainly wouldn't have led you to believe otherwise if you had asked about an early arrival in advance. -Greg

We arrived a couple hours ago to straight disappointment. The site is super tiny and is all rock so putting up the tent was a nightmare. There is no privacy as the sites are all right on top of each other. It is 8:35 p.m. and it sounds like the north end of Hartford. I just used the bathroom and it was completely disgusting. We are avid campers and I can say hands down...this place sucks and definately is not worth the $45/night! Only plus is we live 20 minutes away so we can go home to use the showers and we are able to see my parents who I have no idea why are camping here for the next couple of months from FL. I have read all the reviews and I can completely understand the bad ones. Reading the management comebacks they take no responsibilty but put all blame on the campers. All I can say is..Is it Sunday yet?

Hi Melanie, I'm very sorry you to hear you weren't happy with your site. I understand you probably wanted that one because it was next to your parents, but we would have been happy to check other availability for you for something that would have been more comfortable if you brought this to our attention. And I know we did have a group of campers near you playing music louder than they should but we did talk to them yesterday to have them turn it down, and we made sure they turned it off completely when quiet time started. We'll be keeping an ear out throughout the day today as well. While you're still with us, please feel free to speak with us and we can see what we can do to make your stay more enjoyable. Thanks! -Greg

Not impressed with this place at all for a transient! Extremely limited amount of open sites. Very small sites with no privacy. Not worth the effort to get there up on very steep shoddy roads. The campground was about a 45 minute rough drive from interstate 90

Hi Travellers, I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your stay, or our park's location. We openly advertise that we're in the foothills of the Berkshires ("Mountain" is even in our name), and our location relative to I-90 is easily searchable on Google maps. We do get pretty busy at times and our last-minute availability is sometimes limited to a group field that hasn't been rented out, but we definitely make sure campers are aware that they will be sharing an open field with other campers if that's the case. We even make sure to leave empty spots between parties sharing a field so that you're not right on top of your neighbors, even if it means our park being at less-than-full capacity, as we want to make sure our campers enjoy themselves first and foremost. I understand if this wasn't the ideal condition for you, but we certainly wouldn't have led you to believe otherwise before your arrival. Thanks for staying! -Greg
