Checked in and out without every seeing anyone from management. A key was left for me in a box and I stayed in the room on the top floor. Very small room with a small view of the ocean. The room was very clean but very small. Would be OK for 1 person but small for a couple. The price... More

Not the best b&b we've stayed in, not terribly friendly, we were treated with 'you pay the balance of 1 night now' didn't even tell us her name, no help offered with bags, room overlooking car park, but I must stress the room was very clean, as was the linen, breakfast of the sort of day variety, toasted muffins, bagels,... Thank you for your kind remarks about the quality of my room.. as for being friendly or not perhaps since I can not remember you I might have not been on the property or I gave you your privacy; perhaps we may have thought you were private people and wanted not much to do with chat. My payment policy is... More

We spent 2 nights at the Harbor Inn. The view of the water is wonderful because you are just across the street! The Magnolia on the 3rd floor is a very large room, with 3 comfortable chairs and a king sized bed. The Bathroom is a generous size but the clawfoot tub is a smaller one. I had a problem... More

This is a delightful find in a great location. Nice to sit on the front porch and look out across the water. Our room was a little small but nice. Sam provided great hospitality. It is walking distance to the shopping and restaurant area. Great place for breakfast and evening ice cream near-by. Walkway along the water is a great... More

Great location on the boulevard which is close to town and stage fort park. John and his staff are friendly and very accommodating. Had the Goloub Suite on the first floor which was outstanding. Breakfast was nothing special but overall stay was great.

The two best features of this lovely 205-year-old house made B&B are the warm attention of the owner and the location. My mom and I stayed nine nights, giving us ample opportunity to see how things work around this bright and welcoming establishment. Here is a list of positives, followed by a couple of suggestions: *John puts a lot of... More

This is an old house, over 200 years, so it has lots of character but it is well maintained. John, the owner is very pleasant and accommodating and spent plenty of time giving us ideas for things to do around town. Breakfast is strictly continental.

This bed-and-breakfast is located right on the harbor/ocean, so the view was amazing. It's just a short 5 to 10 minute walk from the main downtown area. We arrived about an hour before check-in, and we were told that our room was ready. The host was very gracious and accommodating. There is an outdoor porch or you can sit and... More

Superior views of Gloucester Harbor and 50 foot steps away from the world-renowned Fisherman's Memorial. Foot steps! This tranquil B&B offers plenty of free off-street parking-I didn't know it existed-available behind the Inn. It is located mere minutes from the freshest seafood on the east coast. We chose Captain Carlos -perfect. This was a "hectic schedule-one overnight-sneak-away trip from 3... More
