We travel with two large well-behaved dogs...this location met our needs because they have drive up motel rooms as well as the Bed & Breakfast accommodations inside the well restored manor home. There is an additional charge for the dogs but the charge is reasonable. A Continental breakfast is included. There is a four star restaurant in the Manor Inn portion and the food there was fantastic! It is about 1/2 hour from Salem making it the perfect location for a day trip to visit in October!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights for the week of Halloween and it was an excellent stay! Traveled from upstate NY. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming and even printed me out a train schedule for our stay since the train station to Salem was only a mile away. We stayed at the Main Inn (Castle) and stayed in the Daring Adventure Room! The room was clean and spacious with its own bathroom and beautiful views! Castle has 3 floors and the interior is very nice and has that Halloween feeling we were looking for! The housekeeping staff were nice as well. We had a quick dessert at the Sea Glass Restaurant at the Inn as well and it was very good! Sad we weren’t able to make it to the complementary breakfast tho, stayed out too late to wake up for it haha. This was our first bed and breakfast we have stayed and and would definitely stay here again if were are in the area again!

Spent two nights here while exploring the area. The host was very pleasant. Breakfast was sufficient, served in the small dining area every morning. Our room was a good size facing the front of the building with turrets. My only complaint is the 3 flights of stairs to get our luggage to our room (we're seniors with old backs). Otherwise it was a delightful property with a great taste of old New England.

Castle Manor is a beautiful bed and breakfast atmosphere on the coast for a very reasonable price. We stayed in one of the motel rooms. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The manor overlooks a beautiful Bay Area/pond and is very close to Salem and other attractions. Highly recommend. We would love to stay in the Inn itself next time.

Castle Manor Inn was a beautiful trip back in time. Loved the hotel, staff, breakfast and accommodations. Only downside is that the mattresses could be updated, but my family isn’t so spoiled as to make a big stink about that. As for some of the reviews that state the hotel needs updating, it’s an old Victorian mansion, for goodness sake. Start updating it too much and you loose the charm and history. Keep it just the way it is. I’ll stay here again and recommend this to my friends for sure!
