We recently hosted our daughter's wedding at this charming Victorian inn by the sea. The well-kept grounds and wrap around porch first welcome you into a setting where the rooms were comfortable and the staff and innkeepers were extremely obliging and attentive. It was a joy to see our guests enjoy perfect summer weather in an open air tent-like setting... More

We had a room in the west motel section; if you plan a stay here we hope you will book a room in the Inn. Some of the things that bothered us about our room were the wi-fi did not work in our room (we had to go to the Inn to get a connection), there was no stopper in... More

Overall a very good experience. The building is beautiful, nicely decorated and comfortable. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. There were not a lot of selections. The fruit was mostly not ripe (crunchy cantaloupe). There are no employees on site overnight but there is a phone number posted in case there are any problems. We were there only when... More

Beautiful old home with many wonderful views. If you are looking for a old seaside home converted to a bed and breakfast look elsewhere. The rooms on the first floor are for the eye to see. Great old world restaurant with a outside patio/deck overlooking the bay, Upstairs unfortunately is a disgrace to those who want the charm and atmosphere.... More

Unfortunately this person was dissatisfied with his stay and claims to be a well versed traveler. However, please read between the lines as to where he has stayed. Our Inn is in Gloucester, MA and smoking is prohibited by the City Of Gloucester and we have been a non smoking facility since we opened in 2012. We have signs and... More

The inn was beautiful and the grounds even better. The room was quaint and the beds were so comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was free, and the muffins were the best I ever had! I just wish we could have stayed longer! The hot water took a little while to get to the room because we... More

My daughter's bridal shower was held on the covered deck and it was all we could have wanted. Laura was very easy to work with and the rest of the staff were friendly, efficient and a pleasure to be around. The food (roll ups and salad) far exceeded my expectations...really, how good can a sandwich be? They were phenomenal! The... More

Got in after a very late day of travel. Very clean, beautiful grounds. The lady that checked us in very helpful and welcoming. Gave us a locals favorite restaruant to try. Again clean big room. Next day at the breakfast at the big house was plentiful and good. The staff / owner wasn't near as nice and welcoming as night... More

We attended a wedding and reception at the inn, which was our first visit. We also stayed overnight in one of their nicely-appointed, clean and spacious guest rooms. The room was in the main inn, there are also rooms available in two other buildings on the property. The ceremony was held on the outside, covered deck, with seating theater style.... More

I can't say enough good things about my daughter and my stay at the Inn. We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. Our room was in the Inn on the third floor. There are no elevators so if you have troubles walking, suggest a lower level. We had a gorgeous view of the marshes and... More

Went to spend some time on the beach so the hotel wasn't the main focus. The hotel was nice but not fantastic. The staff was friendly and the location is great. The room was cute but looked as though they hadn't finished cleaning as someone's earring was left on the nightstand and there was a wet used wash cloth in... More
