After reading the reviews and rolling the dice, we found this hotel fit our family needs very well, and was a great value overall. We toured the Boston area (flew in/out of Hartford, drove south to Cape Code and New Bedford, north to Salem, Lexington and Lowell) and found Framingham to be very convenient to them all. In addition, it... More

This is a nice hotel near where we needed to be. The hotel is older, but the rooms are nice and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast buffet isn't much. I remember cereal, yogurt, bananas and bagels. Nothing hot like bacon or sausage. There is a British pub next door that I really enjoyed. Overall a good stay. Would... More

Nice staff, large rooms, good location, free breakfast, easy access to Boston, pretty close to the T. Older property with no amenities. No real fitness center. Good for the price. Boston proper hotels are pricey.

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay. It started off with the great customer service from the front office receptionist. She was so accommodating and helpful after a long day of travel. When I arrived to my room it was big and CLEAN! The free breakfast was in a nice room with plenty to eat and the room was not... More

My wife and I booked this hotel four months ago. We are doing a tour of New England but were also visiting family nearby. We arrived at the hotel direct from the airport at 6pm U.S. time (11pm U.K. time). The room we were allocated was on the 1st (ground) floor of the Lodge part of the hotel even though... More

Guess I now know why - it has changed hands a few times and the outside signage is not evident. My GPS brought me to the rear parking lot with no logical way to find the lobby except by walking around the building by foot. Pleasant and friendly welcome and the room was fine - clean and quiet.

This was our 3rd time at this hotel. However, to our surprise, this property changed hands from Best Western to Magnuson, a chain we've never encountered. Unfortunately, there were no improvements made with the new management. Overall, the hotel has a tired, run-down appearance. The room we had desperately needed new décor and furniture. The outside entry door lock did... More

I needed a hotel near the route of the Boston Marathon and was shocked by the Boston prices. The Magnuson was very convenient to the route, and very easy to find. My room was immaculate and well appointed for the price. I was impressed with the good linens, pillows and towels. Every employee I met was very friendly and helpful.... More

The first night was alright. Other then the carpet (which looked dirty or stained) the room looked okay, I was visiting a friend in ICU at the hospital, so I woke early and left in the morning without a shower. I did leave the card saying no need to change my bed because I would be staying a second night.... More

I wanted a basic night locally to visit my son at Northeastern. After getting sticker shock at places closer (250+), I found this. It sort of looks like something built in the 60's. Really basic layout. It is dreary but clean. It is a room. Very convenient to Route 9 and I-90 and the surrounding area. Its a hike into... More
