Located near museums, theater and other cultural offerings, it also sits at a cross roads to New Hampshire and Vermont. If you like antiquing there is a large circuit of antique shops in an easy driving loop and there are a number of artists shops that have popped up along Main Street near the common. The B&B offers 3 guest rooms, all with modern private ensuite baths. The rooms each have individual controlled air conditioning and heating, tea stations, large closets and sitting and work areas. There is a fireplaced living room, fireplaced outbuilding with a pool table and collection of firefighting memorabilia from over 35 years in the fire service, a swimming pool and a number of indoor or outdoor dining and relaxing areas. If you like skiing or hiking we are close to Mount Wachusett Ski area, Mt. Watatic and a 40 minute drive to Mt. Monadnoc, as well as large tracts of conservation land. Cross Country skiing at Saima Park, Kayaking, cycling and other outdoor events are nearby. My wife and I spent the night here on our way from Logan Airport to Vermont. Sarah and Ryan could not have been more hospitable. Their BnB is very comfortable, it is in a quiet neighborhood and has a beautiful garden and grounds. The Harvard Room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. They make great omelettes. We would recommend also Slatterys pub, just down the road for a drink and some very good bar food.

I cannot say enough about the Inn, and Brian/Linda. Fabulous experience - cleanliness/COVID precautions, food, pool (perfect during heat wave), hospitality/helpfulness, etc. We spent 3 days/two nights there and occupied two large rooms.

Brian and Linda are friendly and attentive hosts (and excellent cooks!) who know how to leave you your space. The bed and breakfast is very elegant but also cozy (and the south bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with heated floors and a jet tub!). And their dog Sparky is great -- low key and affectionate.
