After doing laps in the 85 degree 20 yard pool, we walked 200 yards to the west to pass the active Falmouth Raw Bar-Restaurant, 200 further to the Windfall Market and the next day 200 yards south to the 9 AM Island Queen ferry. Spending the day at Martha’s Vineyard and returning to a warm inviting room was our goal and this 60+ room resort was the perfect choice at ~ $140/ night.
I loved my stay. The staff were extremely accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable (and, to me, didn't seem particularly "outdated" as described in other reviews). The room was spacious and suite-style with a kitchen that had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable. Had plenty of hot water and soft, large towels in the bath. Could easily control the temp in the room with the thermostat. TV/cable and wifi worked great. Also really liked how many windows there were in the room, allowed for plenty of natural light.
I drove into town for Main St. shops/restaurants, but I think it would probably be walkable from the hotel as well. The harbor across the street made for a picturesque setting. I also think it's important to note I traveled solo and I felt very safe staying here. I would stay here again any time and would recommend it to others!
Can’t say enough good things about the staff,Mike who we saw as we checked was very efficient, quickly got us checked in gave all the tips for where to have lunch while we were waiting for room to be cleaned. Also Keileigh for suggestion about what to see and Christine on the last morning. We will can’t wait to go back, the resort. Is beautiful and very close to beaches, downtown and eating places. All the cleaning, maintenance staff were wonderful and helpful.
They certainly made us feel welcome and happy 😃!
They had a booth by six flags New England. I visited the booth as I was walking in. They put me in for their review and had me pay 40$ security, which they were going to give me back when I visit them. All was fine. They had the "flight tickets" deal all other reviews talk about.
I read the reviews to see what the catch was before making a trip. I felt good about them for providing the free tickets and still people complaining for paying hotel stay. I was going to buy tickets and even identified where I want to go.
I went on Sept 10, 2022. I arrive at their resort google showed in Yarmouth. That's the only location google showed in the entire cape. I went there 15 mins earlier than schedules time. Turns out they don't have anything there. I called them. They said it's in Falmouth and that it should take 30 mins and I'm fine for a 15 mins delay.
I drove to the Falmouth address. There was traffic. I rushed and tried to be there asap and felt good for accommodating me. It took 45 mins still. I got there 1230. My appointment was at 12. I go in and checking in and wait was another 2-3 min.
The guy comes to me. His first question was "are you single?..." I said yes I'm single. That influenced his decision clearly even though he said it wouldn't. Why would he ask if I'm single otherwise? He said "sorry cut off is 1230.
More often gay people are single you idiot. Discriminating based on single is totally unacceptable. I felt very bad. Single won't go on vacation?
"Don't get a room that has not been remodeled. You will regret it. Remember there is no elevator. "Read full review
