Experience the Cape like never before at Sun Retreats Cape Cod, formerly known as Cape Cod RV Resort. Spread out over 55 acres, our resort offers RV and tent sites, vacation rentals, and a beautiful swimming lake with a sandy beach and boats available to rent.
Not a fan of the sand? You'll have your choice of two swimming pools to take a dip in. We have a miniature golf course and playground where the whole family will have fun in the sun during your getaway. Push off on a paddleboard, rowboat, or peddle boat, cast your line into Round Pond, or sit back and relax at our shaded sites. Inquire about staying the entire season on your very own seasonal site.
Cabin rentals have one or two bedrooms, plus a full size sleeper sofa in the living room to accommodate 4-6 guests. Each rental includes a full kitchen, private bathroom with a full shower, ceiling fan, plus central heat and air conditioning. Outside is a deck, picnic table and fire pit with chairs. Accessible and pet-friendly units are available.

We stayed at this location to take part in their Sunday Halloween event. We had a wonderful time....but went through 75 large candy bars in 20 minutes.....the place was packed. Nice facilities and very clean.....and with all those people, not much noise at all.

Property's Favorite Review
We really enjoyed our stay at this site and even mapped out locations for next year. The only issue we had was the cable. Now some will say, suck it up, you are on vacation, and I understand that, but it was MLB playoff time and I could not watch any games including my Cardinals. I did ask the office to check the cable, and they said they would. However when we returned that evening the cable still did not work and I have no idea if anyone ever came....just leave on note on our door to tell us what you found. Otherwise, excellent resort and very close to Woods Hole and the ferry to MV.

We stayed at this campground for nine weeks while here on a travel nursing assignment at Cape Cod Hospital. We enjoyed our nine weeks here at this campground and definitely would come back. The campground was very clean and quiet. The laundry area and bathrooms were also clean and well-kept during our stay. They have nice amenities there like a lake and swimming pool which they opened up during our stay and it was a nice pool. The hot tub area was closed during our stay so we weren’t able to use that. They have paddleboard rentals and kayaks to rent which was $25 an hour which we thought was a little much per hour so we never did rent them but they are there if you would like to use those. They were making improvements while we were there making it even better putting up new signs and new picnic tables etc. The staff that we dealt with was friendly and accommodating. If we were ever in need for a place to park our RV for another travel assignment at Cape Cod Hospital we would definitely come back.…

My family and I decided to squeeze in a Fall Camping trip with our new travel trailer for the Columbus Day weekend. We came across Sun Outdoors online read the reviews and booked a site and we are so happy we did. The campgrounds are very clean the women in the registration office are delightful. It happened to be Halloween weekend so we invited some friends to join us for the day. Everyone had a blast. The kids did the scavenger hunt went trick or treating and we all enjoyed the Halloween Party on Saturday night. The sites are a little tight to get into if you are newer trailer owners but once we were in we had plenty of room and privacy. The people around us were all extremely friendly and very helpful. It was very quiet at night. The only Con I had was upon arriving. We had never been to this campground so when we arrived we were trying to figure out where to go. We stopped at the stop sign and pulled through so I could jump out and go in and register. When I got out of the car a man who I am assuming owns the place was yelling at us for not staying at the stop sign. I apologized and said it is our first time here we weren't sure where to go. He asked me if I could read because apparently there is a sign telling me what to do at the stop sign. So note to anyone entering for the first time you MUST sit at the stop sign until someone comes out to allow you to pull up. My recommendation for the owners would be to have someone at the stop sign so new folks have some guidance instead of standing on a porch yelling and insulting new guests. Once inside I apologized to the women who said it was no big deal and politely registered me and welcomed me to the campground. After that we had an amazing time and look forward to booking again next year.…

If you're a family of women, don't waste your money here. They cater to men and men don't have to follow the rules. If you're a group of women, or a single mother, they watch you like a hawk to make sure you're not doing anything wrong. So glad to be leaving in the morning, because they new people in the next campsite, all guys, are talking loudly at 12:30 am when quiet time starts at 11 pm abd their fire is still going when it's supposed to be out by 12. Not a driveby check from anyone from the campground. Until tonight they drove by every half hour until 12:30 am. It's bs and prejudice.

Hi Duela, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We're sorry that your neighbors kept you up on the last day of your stay. We do not engage in any type of discrimination or profiling at our resort, and the reasons for the frequent ranger presence in your area throughout your stay were the same quiet hours infractions that disturbed you on your final night. Our rangers were out speaking to campers about the regulations, and if they were only "watching" you as they patrolled, then all was well.

I booked this place along with 8 other family and friends . We had a lot of birthdays (past and present) to celebrate . Also some people going through stuff that needed to just get away . This place is cramped ,over priced, and extremally strict that is run by the elderly that have no clue how to have fun past JEOPARDY AND WHEEL OF FORTUNE . Quiet time was supposed to be at 11 on, but for 8nights we were told to keep it down as early as 8pm . This was not a big party going on . We would play corn hole Pictionary with the kids . Then here comes the red golf cart . "Can YOU KEEP IT DOWN STOP LAUPHING SO LOUD STOP CELEBRATING SO MUCH " $124 A NITE FOR A CLAMPING PREMIUM SITE . Its run by the retirement elderly people that do not like noise at there age . Not the way to run a resort ( LAUGH AT THE WORD RESORT ) The pools are dirty as hell with a slimy black ring around it . I was greeted by an elderly woman who told me to use the adult pool there are a lot of brats here now. NICE !!......DO NOT STAY HERE . I thought wow for 124 bucks a night this place must be great.......OMG THE ENTIRE GROUP WAS DISAPOINTED…

We stayed here four or five times this season. The campground is clean with lots to do! Staff are all very friendly. So sad to see them close for the season on our way out today, but looking forward to more fun next year! Great for families and very pet friendly!

Went back last week stayed in spot 95. 3 other trailer came along & we were all ae to get spots near each other. It was great to camp in the start of fall. Cool nights, no AC running, great for camp fires. As usual staff was great, grounds were clean. Can't wait for next year

We have camped in a motor home over the last ten years and usually have no problems with neighbors. This time was different as we had a huge group that didn’t respect their neighbors or the Saturday night quiet hours that start at 11 pm. They were playing music loudly and shouting over the music until 1:30 am. As they had been drinking all day, we were not comfortable asking them to quiet down. We tried calling any number provided, including Sun RV resorts main office…nothing but voice mail. In other campgrounds, we would see security patrols at night, but not here. We would have loved to have slept with windows open but that proved impossible with all the noise. Regarding the “premium” campsite, the water hookup was back in the bushes. The fire pit was in the mud so you got to track that into your unit. Even a layer of gravel would’ve helped that issue.…

Review for Cabin Rental --Four adults traveling to visit family in the area over Labor Day weekend. Cabin was cheaper than renting separate hotel rooms and more fun! Chose Cabin C14 due to it being close to the beach. Unit was clean, beds comfy (some memory, and some standard mattresses)--one queen, one full and three twins. Kitchen stocked with cooking supplies. Bring your own linens. Has heating and a/c. Has shower (no tub). Instructions for first time visitors could be better. Lack of check-in parking caused bottleneck in office area. Close to gas station and coffee shop. Would stay again. Pet friendly. Option to make budget payments ahead of stay.
