Me, my husband , adult daughter, her boyfriend and 2 dogs stayed in the kitchenette water view room for 5 nights . It was clean , the pool was nice temp as well as clean . Our first few nights we basically had the hotel to ourselves for the most part . Which was great . It did get busy Friday night and we checked out on a Saturday . Great place to bring your dog with you on vacation . We were able to use our own kayaks right from the property which was nice . It is a short drive to the beach (even road the electric bikes there ) as well as a short drive to shopping on Maine st . We did not swim in the water where the dock is on the property , not sure it’s even allowed . Hotel is short staffed as pretty much everywhere is these days but the staff that was there were very nice . Our room hadn’t been updated in quite a while but we were fine with that since it was clean . We will definitely be staying there again .

Let me tell you about a story of a family that had a bad day and the owners and team of Green Harbor Waterfront Hotel wiped our tears and turned our, what could have been, horrible day into a special delight. __ My name is Stephen and my wife, two kids, their friend, and our Great Dane Izzy, left my families holiday home on Martha’s Vineyard to drive 441 miles back to our primary home in Maryland. After getting off of an early morning ferry, I received a frantic call from my wife Rebecca, “Izzy has to go potty bad.” I kick into action and found the local dog park in Falmouth. But, before we could get to the park, Izzy had an unfortunate accident in the back seat of Rebecca’s Cadillac. We dart into the center of the village and park. I run to the local Walgreens and purchase trash bags, cleaner, paper towels – everything you need to fix a mess. Thank goodness Izzy only had her accident on her bed and our backseat dog cover to prevent these types of things including scratches to the seats. After 45 minutes things were back to “almost” normal because…well…the smell was intoxicating and not in a good way. Rebecca and my youngest did roll the windows down to air out. Rebecca was hot in the collar as no one wants to deal with that before coffee! Next, I say we all need gas. So we drive down Main Street in Falmouth and pull into Intergas. While at Intergas, I first ask my oldest son to go and pump mom’s gas as she is having a bad morning. He pushes back and says he is barefoot. Normally, I would push-push back but for some reason I let it go because I know he broke his flip flops and we needed to purchase another pair on our ride home. Next, I ask his friend to do it. He agreed. I told him to put 93 Octane in Rebecca’s car. He says ok. While at Rebecca’s pump, Rebecca tells the young man to put whatever Stephen said to put into the car. The young man says, “Diesel?” and Rebecca says, “Yea sure whatever!” Pure sarcasm to an adult, but to a teen…it was gospel. 15 gallons later, the young man couldn’t figure out why the gas kept spilling and why he had to force it into the tank! Rebecca noticed and SCREAMED! I ran back and noticed a huge mistake occurred. I asked what happened and I was HOT…I mean so mad I couldn’t speak at Rebecca for playing around at this moment. All I could say was, “Call Nationwide and have them tow us…and leave me alone.” I needed a 5-minute timeout to gather myself!!! Well after 2 hours of waiting the truck came and towed us to Excel Gas & Repair. However, none of his mechanics could work on the car. Sidebar – After waiting two hours, we drove in the truck with a nice driver who thought he was in a Ferrari, not a large flat bead truck – lol. But he was excellent. I told Rebecca to drive my car with the other kids and the dog. So the owner of the shop said we cant get to you until tomorrow, “maybe”! FREAKED… Rebecca started crying and I rubbed her shoulder and said, “Its okay, we need a hotel room.” She called the first place she could find and it was Green Harbor Waterfront Hotel. The nice lady said she accepts any dogs and has availability at $143 per night. I told Rebecca to run and get the room. I waited at the shop. Turns out this was the BEST choice! The staff was EXCELLENT! They helped the boys get into the pool, gave us extra towels, and made sure all our comforts were met. Then, the next morning, we found out our car would be drained and fixed by 3 pm. The nice lady, I am assuming one of the owners, said, “I am not going to charge you for an extra day. You guys already incurred an expense you didn’t expect. Stay as long as you need, I am not going to rent your room.” This spirit after dealing with COVID-19. God bless her. I was almost in tears!!!! Well…the car was not as much as I expected. A fair price…but not painful. I felt this need to bless this hotel and I tipped the staff just shy of a one-night stay and thanked them for all of their compassion and care during this experience. My mother even said she is going visit the hotel so that she and her friends can visit Falmouth before heading over to the Vineyard. This hotel is simply a family friendly, dog loving place with LOADS of charm and a spirit of relaxation. We could not have asked for a better place to be broken down and I thank God every day it was this hotel and not the side of 28 or 95 with a car that had exploded. PS – We also met the most amazing people at the dog park. A teacher, a retired teacher, a realtor, students, and others were some of the nicest people in the world. I mean, no one ever talks to Rebecca and I at the dog Park in Frederick, MD. However, in Falmouth…everyone was simply warm and fun to be around while we had our engine sorted. Bless you guys and have a safe year!

**WARNING - DO NOT COME HERE!!!** What a complete and total scam this entire place is. I arrived for my 3 day vacation with my girlfriend on a Friday night around 10:30pm, retrieved the keys to the room and upon entering the room found the entire carpet soaked, the room smelled of mold and mildew. The air conditioner was leaking, the condenser in the fan above the shower was leaking this yellow fluid all over the tub and bathroom floor. I thought someone pissed on the floor. I took multiple photos of this and requested a refund for this Despicable room. The manager never called me back and I’m currently having my bank fight the charges. I’ll be posting the photos of the room along with the stay information on all social media, internet sites and booking sites. This hotel is a complete SCAM! Look at the filth in the bathroom, I didn’t even wipe the floor. It’s wet and black mold.

This is a very dated motel !! Pro’s .. Has a great location Con’s .. Rooms are musty, not so clean and run down. Boat launch is not really a boat launch(could not launch a boat from it). Had to go to public boat launch about 2 miles away !! The dock is rickety and full of bird droppings ! Barnacles on side of dock did a job on our boat! No way near the value that they charge for rooms!! Never again!!

Overall a great place to kick back and relax with the dogs. Small hitch with reservation, not sure who's end it was on, the hotel or Travelocity, i called the day before arrival to make sure we were booked into a dog friendly room, as it turns out they are all pet friendly (big bonus) the woman on the phone said she had me arriving wednesday, leaving saturday (wrong days) she corrected the dates with no issues. I had booked a beach front room so my older dog (13 years old) would not have to walk very far to the water, she loves to swim, at least she did when she was younger, now she just wades in for a few minutes, it takes alot out of her just walking. Upon arrival we were given keys to a water view room with a bit of a walk down an incline to the water, when I showed the reservation to the clerk and explained that, he rearranged some other reservations and gave us beach front right away, right on the corner next to a short walkway to the water, (the other end was next to set of steep steps that she never would have been able to manage), it was the perfect spot for her and our other pup got to socialize with other doggies that walked past as we sat at the oudoor tables enjoying the weather. The maid even left some extra towels outside our room with a note "for the dogs :)" The rooms are a bit out dated but the staff more than made up for that taking the extra steps to make sure we all, pups included, enjoyed our stay. Will look forward to staying there again.

If you want everything brandy new and high end this is not the place for you! If you want value, to bring your dog, a lovely pool, and one of the most quietest, peaceful spots - then this is your place!!!! Rooms are a little dated but who cares, you are on the Cape! This place is so quiet and peaceful! Lovely view of Green Pond. Fun activities to do on site and convenient to all things Falmouth. Cleaning staff is personable and five star. Rooms are a little small for family of four with teenagers, but for all purposes it serves a good one! Thank you Green Harbor!

We had some special requests because of my husband's handicaps. The first lady I talked to tried to help but wisely asked me to call back the next day when someone was there with more knowledge of the property. I did and was very, very happy with the result. Although I had to spend more on the room that had the accessibility that we needed it was worth it. I wish I'd brought a family since we only used one of the 4 beds in our "spot". The view was as beautiful as I'd hoped too. The ONLY issue we had was ants in the kitchen....but since I hate pesticides I was fine with taking precautions to not let them feast on our stuff.

This was a very nice place to stay for the location. They offer a small beach with small boats and a dock on a canal. The room we had was very nice and clean. Especially the bathroom. Unfortunately the pool was out of season. They have a lot of tables and chairs for a barbecue. They have a fire pit located by the beach and it's perfect at night. Will stay again my next visit.

My dog and I stayed here for one night while in the area, and overall we had a pleasant stay. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and welcoming. She let me know which local restaurants would deliver dinner to the hotel so I would not have to leave my dog to go eat. The room was clean, the hotel was quiet at night, and the grounds behind the hotel (beach, pools, etc) looked like they would be fun for kids in the summer. The room furnishings were adequate and simple, and there was plenty of space. My only complaints were that the pillows were small and the shower in my room had almost no water pressure. Since there was zero way I was going to be able to shower, as I had a schedule to keep and did not have time to wait for a repair or arrange to switch rooms just to shower, I just rinsed off and let the front desk know it needed a repair. The lady was apologetic and said she'd arrange for the maintenance staff to fix it. If I had been able to take a shower, I would have given it 4 out of 5. I gave it 3 out of 5 because I think they did not realize the shower needed attention.
