We had plans for international travel for our anniversary and unfortunately had to cancel 8 days before our trip! It was a scramble to find availability with such short notice. I stumbled upon this inn and reached Pattie via telephone. We had a lovely conversation, where she told me about the Inn and the changes they made upon reopening. At the time, Pattie was awaiting confirmation from a couple who was potentially canceling. If they did, there would be availability for our dates. Pattie kept in touch with me throughout the next couple of days and as soon as she received confirmation that there would be availability, she reached out. The room we chose, the Robinson Room, was the perfect spot for us. This room has two entrances, one from inside of the house and the second from the private patio. The room itself is furnished with three chairs and an incredibly comfortable King sized bed. The fireplace is a perfect touch, making this cozy room even more so. The bathroom is just beautiful. The soaking tub is perfect to unwind with a book and a glass of wine. The toiletries provided are a great quality and refreshing scent. This included shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bars of soap, plenty of makeup wipes, bath salts, chapstick and lotions. I have never stayed somewhere with a bathroom as fully stocked as this one! We were excited and surprised to discover a sweet welcome card wishing us a Happy Anniversary accompanied by a box of incredibly delicious chocolates from Ghelfi’s Candies of Cape Cod. We love a place that supports local businesses! There really is no other way to describe the grounds, the house, the decor but breathtaking. We have never seen anything quite as beautiful. The incredible wrap around porch was the perfect spot for breakfast. The outdoor heaters made an outdoor breakfast in October comfortable and enjoyable. Upon check-in, Pattie asked our preferred time for breakfast and invited us to come up prior to our time to bring coffee back to our room. We jumped at this opportunity both mornings. I enjoyed the delicious coffee while getting ready and my husband sat on our private patio with a book and coffee. Breakfast. Wow. Fresh coffee, juice and water started off this incredible two course meal. Fresh fruit and a homemade muffin was a deliciously sweet way to start the meal. Pattie quickly offered a to go bag for the muffins when she noticed us slowing down to save room for what was to come. Day one we were given a beautiful plate of eggs Benedict. Day two was certainly a favorite; lemon ricotta pancakes with chicken sausage. I am still thinking about those incredible pancakes! Local ingredients are used whenever possible as well as veggies and herbs from their garden. The tomatoes and mint especially stood out to me! The location of the Inn is perfect. Plenty of parking in the lot and a quick and easy walk into town. We especially loved having dinner at Anejo Mexican Bistro & Tequila Bar. It was packed on a Saturday night with a 90 minute wait. Due to COVID restrictions, having a drink at a bar while you wait is really out of the question. The close distance (5min walk) to the inn made it easy to put our names in and return to the room for a glass of wine until it was our turn. FYI- if you make your way to Anejo, the chorizo nachos, fish tacos and shrimp quesadilla are all incredible! Pattie and Randy have truly thought of everything. With our fresh towels on day two, fresh baked brownies and bottled water were a welcomed surprise. As we left the inn, we were sent home with additional bottles of water for our trip and fresh baked cookies! We absolutely loved getting to know this wonderful couple and truly felt welcomed at their beautiful inn. We are so thankful for our change of plans as it led us to this gem. We are already planning on returning!

We so enjoyed meeting you both and sharing your Anniversary get-away. We really appreciated your patience and trust when explaining the details of a visit during "Covid Times." We have all tried to ensure your stay with us will be memorable even though we have made so many changes with regard to the rooms, all the luxurious decorator pillows, the signature Teddy Bears and of course the non stop treats in the café and the self service beverage bar. Thank you for enjoying the new "normal." Falmouth is a very special town and we love to showcase all things Falmouth. Our treat's from Ghelfi's Candies and the specialty cakes and bark with SF Sea Salt are from Lisa Rafael of Delicious Desserts. The touch of SF Sea Salt is because we are from CA thus showcasing the sea and another local purveyor. Our garden which is almost finished for the season supplies many of the vegetables we use for the savory spring and summer breakfast. The herb garden provides year round herbs and garnishes for our breakfast. We are so glad that you enjoyed the breakfast. We prepare all food fresh daily with Randy as the master baker for muffins, cookies and brownies. We are very lucky to be the owners and "Caretakers" of this very special historic property. We love to share all the history of the Inn, the town and the surrounding area with our guests. Thank you both for spending your Anniversary with us! We are sorry you missed your International trip to celebrate 10 years of marriage; we are so lucky that we met you, the conversations will always be with us and we hope to see you in the future. Be Safe, Healthy and remain your truly upbeat, positive selves.

Our stay as guests at Captain's Manor Inn (Veteran's Day) was truly the most enjoyable stay we have had at ANY inn. Innkeepers Pattie and Randy made us feel most comfortable in a remarkable and gracious manner attending to any and all special requests - food and otherwise! The other guests we met soon went from acquaintances to friends resulting in a fun-filled evening of good food and lively conversation (even meeting a relative of a parish priest friend from years ago). We hope to visit again with Pattie and Randy. Treat yourself to a wonderfully pampered stay - see you there!

My wife and I stayed for three nights at The Captain's Manor Inn, and it was exceptional. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The best part of the stay was the conversation with the innkeepers, Pattie and Randy. They were interesting, always helpful, and Randy is a laugh a minute!

Thank you for joining us in Falmouth. We consider this to be the "hidden gem" on the Cape and a great year round community. We really had a great time visiting with you, hearing about your life in NY & NJ. It was really fun. We hope to see you again, even if you are just passing through.

Thank you to Pattie and Randy for opening up your gorgeous home to all of us Veterans as part of the B&B’s for Vets program. Your home is stunning with great attention to detail and we wanted for nothing. Watching you both cook breakfast was a treat and what a breakfast it was on both mornings. The room was perfect in every way with exquisite linens and furnishings. The treats in our room and in the kitchen throughout our stay were so thoughtful including the goodbye bag of treats. The walk into town took 3 minutes and we visited all the lovely shops. We thoroughly enjoyed your company Randy and loved your sense of humor once we figured it out lol 😉. Pattie you certainly have a knack for entertaining and we could not have asked for more perfect hosts. We loved every minute of our stay. It was perfection.

We cannot begin to say how much we appreciate you and all who serve our wonderful country. Those that actively serve and their families who provide constant support to their loved ones and often anchor everyone when their loved ones are away. To witness the camaraderie between all of you (and some from different branches "squids") was so touching, you have a bond. We loved hearing your stories and we will never forget you. We were so stunned when you brought such a lovely gift basket for us with products from your home state of Rhode Island and the lovely card that each of you wrote something and signed......this was so special to us. We feel honored to have met all of you and do hope our paths will cross again. We feel privileged to participate in the B & B's for Vets and will hold this past weekends memories in our hearts.

This is truly a stunning inn! My husband and l stayed two nights this past weekend and loved it. Patti and Randy were so welcoming and friendly that you felt like you were at your friends home! The inn is beautifully decorated and pristine in all areas of the inn. Our room was so relaxing and comfortable and the bathroom was like a spa. You are greeted each morning with the smell of rich coffee and a wonderful breakfast. We were lucky enough to have eggs Benedict on Sunday morning and they would rival any five star restaurant. It was preceded by a refreshing granola, yogurt and fresh fruit parfait, delicious! Will be returning. The only way to truly see what I am talking about is to make a reservation and experience it for yourselves!

We really enjoyed meeting you both and sharing conversation. When you arrived you were excited, happy and looking forward to your visit to Falmouth; your positive energy was infectious. Our goal is for our guests to have a wonderful experience and we are thrilled that you had a great time. Many thanks regarding the breakfast since all is prepared to order and fresh. The open kitchen "café" allows for everyone to see what is being prepared and also affords the opportunity for guests to interact if they choose. We look forward to seeing you in the future and continue the fun conversations, laughter, etc.
