If like me you believe that it's people who make the difference between good and excellent then you will love this place because the owner, Rene, is one of the nicest people you will meet anywhere. We stayed at Corales for a visit to Punta Rucia and Rene organised our trip to Paradise Island. The rooms are clean and comfortable,...

This was a last minute booking we made because our tour to Cayo Arena was early the next morning. We needed a better address/destination because our GPS took us down a horribly rocky/muddy/less traveled road and both of our phones had died, but we eventually made it. Rene is awesome! He welcomed us and had our room ready. Then we...

Good place to stay for just the basics.....also because there's no better choice in Punta Rucia for that price range. Run by Rene, (german) it's self supporting with its own water and electricity facilities. If you've already travelled off the beaten track in the Dominican Republic you'll appreciate this. He's also the cook, the tour guide, etc. Nice guy, nice...

What a beautiful place. Like the time stopped here. Road is a big adventure in last km, but worth to get there. Nice and modern house with big rooms and beds. As a famill we all loved it. Breakfast is included and it was a really good one. So, we really enjoyed and recommend this place for you too. Rene...

Punta Rucia is somewhat off the beaten track but well worth the adventure. Found this hotel on-line - it is "off the grid" so don't expect a Holiday Inn. Owner Rene is an amazing cook and can help visitors out with an inexpensive excursion to Paradise Island or arrange for those who wish to go SCUBA diving. He speaks German,...

This review isn't for the hotel, but is for Rene's scuba diving service, which is top notch. My friends and I who went diving with him were really impressed with just how relaxed and low-hassle the entire scuba trip was. We simply met up with him, he had all of the gear ready, he and some guys on the beach...

Corales is a perfect place to stay in Punta Rucia. We are expats living in Santo Domingo and made the weekend trip to snorkel and dive at Cayo Arena. Punta Rucia reminds me of the "old" Dominican Republic ~ dirt roads, little towns, and being able to drive right up the beach to get great fish and lobster at incredibly...

Where do I start? The owner is a super nice and friendly person, amazing cook! he makes you breakfast and dinner at previews request. The place is very clean. Close to the beach, and even closer to a little piece of quiet beach. Me and my boyfriend decided to make Corales and Punta Rucia our place to go, like our...

Me and my girlfriend just stayed 4 nights with Rene at Corales and are more than happy. The ample rooms are absolutely satisfying, the location is very quiet and the beaches more than beautiful. Rene, a former cook, prepares dinner beyond good... a must! All in all the perfect spot for a relaxing time in the DomRep. The price/performance ratio...

It is a small hotel in Punta Rusia, the rooms are clean and Rene (German manager and owner) is a great host. If you want to have dinner you should tell Rene in advance, he cooks very well. If you like a quite place, with good food and close to take an early boat to visit Cayo Arena this is...
