This is the original home of Lizzie Borden and her family...furnished as it would be when they lived there in the 1800's before the tragic murders...very well kept up, clean, quiet - well, except for the ghosts! Lovely big breakfast, a awesome tour guide with all the scary details....ooohhhh... I'm shivering just remembering it! We stayed in the father and... More

Colleen was our tour guide and she was a wealth of information. The tour took about an hour, little kids might get bored. We really enjoyed all the information and history. You can park behind the house and there is a gift shop to buy items if you wish. I wouldn't make a special trip there, but if you are... More

I took a tour of the house, it was excellent. Very knowledgeable staff. They did a great job of keeping things factual and maintaining a creepy vibe while not making it cheesy. The house itself is historic and interesting. That on top of the crazy story really made it interesting. I would love to return and spend the night.

We had Nick give us a tour of the house. He was very knowledgable about the Borden family and the crime and well-spoken. Have wanted to visit for years and it was worth the trip. We appreciated that they didn't try and make us decide on Lizzie's guilt or innocence. Left the topic open to a lot of things to... More

I came here believing that Lizzie had committed the murder of her father and stepmother, Andrew and Abby Borden. I left really not knowing if she did it or not. The tour started out by our tour guide, Richard, greeting us at the front door of the Borden home. He invited us in and we sat in the parlor while... More

Absolutely loved it all. Today I had the tour guide Colleen and she did such a fantastic job on the tour. She was clear, knew how to answer the questions asked, and honestly loves her job which just makes the entire tour more enjoyable. (I had paranormal experiences)

Great tour off the beaten path from Boston! The tour guide was really knowledgeable and friendly. We learned so much! Our teens were with us and they said it was a highlight of our vacation. Definitely worth the trip! You can spend the night and get a longer tour as well at night. Wish were could have done that!

This house is situated on a very small piece of property, so the parking lot was very cramped. However, the staff was very attentive and the house was clean and well maintained. The only downfall was the shared bathroom. We stayed on the 3rd floor and our bathroom was shared with two other rooms; I much prefer my privacy. It... More

My wife and I spent the night here. We had the suite with the private bath. We thought the room was great! Deb gave us a GREAT tour, mixing a history with paranormal happenings at the house. After Deb left us for the night we were allowed to roam around the house. We eventually made it down into the basement.... More
