For my first ever visit to the Hampton Inn, I'm slightly disappointed that a Four Star Hotel barely measured up to Two Stars. I'm very surprised that the Hilton would have such a substandard facility with their name on it.

Typical means good! Hampton Inns are great places to stay and they all have amenities. Pool was sadly outdoors which isn't great in New England, but it was a good nights sleep and there are many eateries right around the hotel. Breakfast was free, but a bit light.
Great experience, good breakfast bar, Joe’s coffee, Brahmin outlet store close by, also close to Walmart shopping center, Dunkin Donuts, etc. Mike’s Restaurant has great New England seafood- especially the Maine lobster combinations!
