1. The driver who runs the shuttle service (at least in the mornings) between the hostel and the metro station was weird. He made me extremely uncomfortable by making remarks about my physical appearance and touching me unnecessarily. I dreaded journeys in the shuttle so much to the point that I never took the shuttle back to the hostel from... More

Stayed here and was blown away. Stayed at a few other places before this and this took the cake. I especially liked the wall of currency. I added an Eastern Caribbean dollar to the wall. I told the manager I would give the review and now I've settled into the city. I have to say thanks. They offer so much... More

Very cheap hostel. The hostel looks little bit cheap too. It's not a fancy place, but it is clean and the staff there... they are amazing. There are quite a few beds in the rooms (when i was there most of them were empty). You got enough space for your stuff and there are lockers in the hallway (you need... More

Located just a few kilometers north of downtown Boston and a 20 min walk to the Orange Line T, the hostel is a solid performer. They provide basic, comfortable shared accommodations, regular shuttles to the T, and unbeatable customer service. Great place to meet other travelers as well!

I want to recommend this joint because they treated me like a friend or family. They picked me up from the train station ( only a few minutes away). They answered all my questions. Great deal. Very happy with this stay.

I should preface this and say that I've only stayed in hostels whilst in Europe, so this is my first review of an American hostel. I stayed two nights with a friend in the first week of April. The rooms were decent sized, the beds and linens were average, though mine had a strange stain on one end... Not a... More

Good hostel but out of the centre of Boston, you need to get the train in. The hostel has a free shuttle that runs most of the time though to and from the train station. Clean hostel, good dorm rooms and friendly staff

I absolutely loved the environment at the Boston Backpackers and cannot speak highly enough of the staff who work there. Everyone is incredibly friendly, welcoming, down to earth and always up for a laugh! The people who work here really do go above and beyond to deliver exceptional customer service to every single guest and make you feel as comfortable... More

I had booked for 3 nights, but stayed for 7. Loved the friendly athmosphere, comfortable beds, accsess to wifi, tv, pub and smokers areas outside. Getting downtown Boston was no problem, thanks to the shuttle, (Wayne!) . But in Everett, the charming town, you find almost everything you might need. Nice restaurants, shops, post office etc. Starting with an easy... More

I stayed here on April to support a friend that was running the Boston Marathon. Becuase of the event and the time I decided to go, all hotels near the center were full, so this option was the best I found for this time. It is not near the city center, but the hostel for free takes you to the... More
