So we came to Boston for my son's 18th Birthday trip to see the Red Sox vs. Yankees play.... hadn't really planned that far in advance for this trip, and then could not find a decent price on a hotel room for a few nights. Crazy expensive everywhere! Like high $300's to $400+ per night. We have never stayed at... More

Though the hostel itself is in an older residential neighborhood, and the facilities aren't exactly modern, it's clean and the hospitality was endearing (in the morning). I arrived at night via the T, and I so appreciated the free hostel shuttle that runs about every 30 minutes. The room was clean, and there were only 3 of us in an... More

Had a lovely time at this hostel. Inviting, comfortable, clean and a cosy environment. Met some great people. Staff all very friendly and happy to help with anything. Special shoutout to wayne for driving us to south station. Would recommend and go back to this hostel. Shuttle service very convenient.

Boston was on my list of places to see on my road trip, but I had a hard time to figure out where I should stay. I found everything I needed at Backpackers Hostel & Pub. They had a free parking and a shuttle getting to the closest metro station. Also, it is an hostel, so if you stay for... More

This was the cheapest accommodation that we could find for 5 of us for one night. We stayed in a 8 person mixed dorm. The beds were fairly comfortable. The room had a toilet and sink which was really useful. There wasn't any air conditioning and it was a really hot night. We opened the window but as we were... More

1. The driver who runs the shuttle service (at least in the mornings) between the hostel and the metro station was weird. He made me extremely uncomfortable by making remarks about my physical appearance and touching me unnecessarily. I dreaded journeys in the shuttle so much to the point that I never took the shuttle back to the hostel from... More

Stayed here and was blown away. Stayed at a few other places before this and this took the cake. I especially liked the wall of currency. I added an Eastern Caribbean dollar to the wall. I told the manager I would give the review and now I've settled into the city. I have to say thanks. They offer so much... More

Very cheap hostel. The hostel looks little bit cheap too. It's not a fancy place, but it is clean and the staff there... they are amazing. There are quite a few beds in the rooms (when i was there most of them were empty). You got enough space for your stuff and there are lockers in the hallway (you need... More

Located just a few kilometers north of downtown Boston and a 20 min walk to the Orange Line T, the hostel is a solid performer. They provide basic, comfortable shared accommodations, regular shuttles to the T, and unbeatable customer service. Great place to meet other travelers as well!
