This hotel couldn't have been better. It is tasteful, quiet, in the center of everything and goes above and beyond in terms of service and hospitality. The staff was top notch and I couldn't recommend this place more. If you can, get one of the top floor suites overlooking the harbour.
My daughter and I had the great fortune to find this wonderful hotel for our annual Mother/Daughter trip. The hotel Manager, Wes, was extremely accommodating as we had to make some changes to our reservation. We had a 4th floor 1 bedroom suite with a view of the harbor. The room was fantastic, bedroom, kitchenette, living room and outside deck. The furnishings were modern and just what you would expect for the Vineyard. We were able to have coffee in our room in the morning which for me is critical. And we sat out on the deck every evening after a full day of bike riding, kayaking and sightseeing and enjoyed the beautiful view. There is a tv in the living room as well as the bedroom which was nice so that my daughter could watch tv late if I was tired and wanted to go to bed. The hotel has a breakfast every morning which is very good, fresh and healthy. They had a few different kinds of quiche which I appreciated because I like to have protein for breakfast. They had no issue with me taking a tray up to the room so that I could enjoy it on the beautiful deck. The staff was very friendly and there was always someone at the front desk to help if we needed anything. The hotel has parking but as noted on the website, please be sure to let them know so that you can reserve a place. It is about a block and a half away (short walk) but there is a loading zone in front of the hotel and the staff helps you with your luggage. The hotel has bikes as also noted on the website but they go quickly. However that is not an issue as the manager referred us to a bike shop a few blocks away and there was no problem getting a bike. The hotel is right in the heart of town with great shopping and wonderful restaurants within blocks of the hotel. Due to COVID, room cleaning was at the request of the guest which they asked you when you checked in. We requested fresh towels daily and some other things that were done as requested. The hotel was very clean including the bathroom in the lobby. I have stayed at other very nice places in Edgartown but I now have a new "Go-to"! I can't wait to go back ...…
One of our favorite places we have stayed anywhere. The location is the best to enjoy Edgartown. The location could not be better. We had a one bedroom suite with an amazing furnished balcony to watch the Hussle and bustle. The room is gorgeous with everything you need in the kitchenette. I am only giving 4 stars due to the lack of great hospitality. When there were minor issues like the pump toiletries being empty they appear to be confused and disorganized. They don’t always answer the phone and there is an unpleasant odor throughout parts of the hallway and other areas.
Can’t say enough great things about this place. Besides everyone being very friendly they thought out almost everything from mini dishwashers to utensils to the radio. The view from the fourth floor balcony was breathtaking. The only two suggestions are get better equipment for the gym. What is there is antiquated and a microwave in the buffet area to warm up the omelets I will keep this facility at the top of my list when I return to MV
My husband and I totally enjoyed our 3 day stay at Vineyard Square. Our room was quaint and so comfortable. Good ventilation or window for fresh air. The bathroom seemed to be recently upgraded. Most importantly, Vineyard Square was well maintained and extremely clean. The location is in the midst of Edgartown shopping and dining. Breakfast was provided every morning with bit size quiches, fruit, parfait, caprice and avocado toast, cereal, breads, and coffee/ juice. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel. This hotel has a large porch with several Adirondack rocking chairs for guests to enjoy a cocktail while relaxing or enjoying the live entertainment on summer Thursday nights in the courtyard.
