Quaint, comfortable boutique hotel nestled among charming shops and eateries in Edgartown. The location is near everything you need—shops, restaurants, cinema and public transportation. The continental breakfast is both exquisite in presentation and features culinary expertise— freshly baked croissants, quiches, muffins, etc. Fresh fruits, yogurts, jams and more. Not only was I pleasantly filled with the assortment of tasty treats, I had no guilt as it pertains to breaking my dietary standards of healthy eating. I look forward to being a repeat visitor 😊
We spent two nights, three and a half days at the Vineyard Square Hotel & Suites this September. It was not our first time there but one of the best. Breakfast food was great...they had new bikes to borrow (on the honor system for free - so wonderful) and the staff was as pleasant and helpful as always!
Vineyard Square customer service was amazing. Majorie and the GM were excellent. We requested a tour on Martha’s Vineyard and they came through for us . Excellent tour company. I had a late reservation at Chesca’s restaurant and Marjorie was so nice to get me an earlier reservation. Great customer service . Located in a wonderful location great walking distance to shopping , pier and restaurants in Edgartown. The Courtesy bicycles were an added bonus.
We had a nice stay in Edgartown at the Vineyard Square Hotel. Very convenient location. We didn't try the included breakfast but we did use their bikes to ride around the island. Room was clean, mattress was comfortable, shower water pressure was good. It's not cheap, but nothing is on Martha's Vineyard.
My stay at the Vineyard Square Hotel & Suites was a blast! The hotel's location was in the heart of Edgartown, where everything was within 500ft! The hotel offered a complimentary homemade breakfast (I even met the chef). The location is excellent, and I highly recommend taking the complimentary bikes for trips to Oak Bluffs and South Beach!
We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is perfect - close to everything in town. We chose a cozy room and it was quite small, but we got used to it and enjoyed spending time on the spacious porch in the early morning and late afternoon. The breakfast selection was amazing and we enjoyed eating on the patio outside, weather permitting. The staff was very friendly and helpful and were able to book us dinner reservations at a popular restaurant. This was the second time we have stayed at Vineyard Square and we would definitely stay there again.
Everything at Vineyard Square was excellent - the staff were friendly and accommodating and the location could not be better for getting around downtown on foot. The home made breakfast every morning was delicious and the access to bikes was an added bonus. Cannot recommend it enough!
The suites are spacious and comfortable. Comes with a buffet breakfast. Staff is friendly and helpful. Location is right in town and easy access to everything in Edgartown. Parking is a few blocks away but easy walk.
This hotel is a gem and has wonderful staff. Evelyn was so lovely and helpful, and she was amazing engaging with my two toddlers and gave them with some beach toys to use. When I ended up leaving some stuff behind, she immediately tracked it down and mailed it to me. She really goes out of her way to accommodate guests. The hotel has a fantastic location in the heart of Edgartown so close to everything! Our room (2nd Fl. Luxury King Suite) was spacious and had a deck/outdoor space with a nice view. I loved everything about this hotel but Evelyn was the best part!
We visited this hotel last year and enjoyed it so much, we returned. We stayed in a room in the “Owner’s wing” that had a balcony overlooking the street but had a clear view of the harbor. The hotel has a small breakfast area that serves a continental breakfast…pastries, toast, packaged cereal, yogurt, juice and coffee. There is no on-site parking, the hotel has a limited number of spaces in a shared lot about 1-1/2 blocks away. If you’re bringing a car, make sure to note it when you make a reservation. Room cleaning services are by request. The staff is very friendly and willing to help with any request. They have beach chairs and umbrellas available. We arrived on an early ferry and our room wasn’t ready yet. Since the hotel essentially requires payment in advance, check-in was an easy process. We left our luggage at the front desk and walked around Water St. The front desk called when our room was ready, well before the posted check-in time. Our room had a bedroom with a king sized bed, separate sitting room and small kitchen area with a small refrigerator, toaster oven, microwave and dishwasher and was fully stocked with plates and utensils. Both the sitting room and bedroom have TVs, the sitting area also had a small table. Both rooms had air conditioners. The balcony has a small table with chairs and a sitting area. There is a wall separating it from the adjacent balcony. The view from our balcony was spectacular, a clear view down Kelly St. to the harbor. There are plenty of nearby shops and restaurants within a 10 minute walk. It’s also a short walk to the Chappaquiddick ferry and Lighthouse beach. We enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back next year.…
