The Vineyard Square was a beautiful hotel and the perfect choice for MV off season. The front desk staff was welcoming and a joy! We were in a 4th floor suite overlooking the harbor and were entertained by the Chappy ferry making frequent runs. The room was spacious with a fireplace, kitchenette and comfortable living room. Would definitely recommend staying here and of course off season is an added plus with lower rates and availability.

Had a wonderful stay Audrey and Wes were fantastic and made us feel welcome ☺️. Had spa treatment from Sea Spa Salon which was also fantastic 😍 Betsy, Sally and Chantal were fabulous 😁 The view from our room was spectacular even though the weather wasn't. Definitely would recommend and return. Was spoiled wit the 4th floor one bedroom suite! 🤗

We stayed at the Vineyard Square on 10/10-10/12. The room was clean & they delivered a bagged breakfast in the morning which was nice. Porch is beautiful. Considering that this is an older building, the floors are slanted- which makes it interesting in the dark at night in a tight room. I got the upgrade last minute so we were able to have a Livingroom area which helped. Had to ask for mini fridge, no microwave, no room service - for cleaning & no coffee pot. They did bring coffee and a few things for breakfast in the morning. The biggest negative is that each morning we heard pounding up and down the steps. (2nd morning was slightly better as I mentioned the concern to the front desk) It was directly along the wall of our bedroom and went from 5:45am til almost 7. It was obnoxious. I would not stay in room 201 again due to this fact alone. They were short staffed - & it was noticeable.

Chris - we're so glad you enjoyed the hotel's location, situated right in the center of Edgartown, the quintessential New England town. And our homemade, locally sourced breakfast, conveniently delivered to your room door every morning. We have also adopted the highest industry standards for cleanliness in this time of covid. Most guests request no daily service, but we will always gladly provide it upon request. While our hotel is over 100 years old, we have recently refreshed it to continue our high standards of high quality facilities for all our guest. We are so sorry you heard noise on the stairs - we had a very large group of government employees that were leaving the hotel very early in the morning.

Thank you for a relaxing MV getaway. Staff was welcoming & room was quiet. We had a 4th floor suite & waking up to the view of the harbor on our private balcony was perfect. Covid protocol is in place & we felt cared for.

The staff remembered us from last year and welcomed us back. They made us feel truly welcome and comfortable. The room was very clean and well appointed. I can’t say enough about the overall experience. Breakfast box was delivered with hot coffee every morning. Our dining experience at Chescas (make a reservation ahead) was fantastic. The hotel is located in the perfect middle of all Edgartown has to offer. And our two beloved Boston Terriers were so comfy it made all us so happy. Thank you vineyard Sq hotel. See you next visit!

Thanks Lisa - we love hosting families that come back year after year. We are so glad you, your sisters, and nieces were able to join us again for a “girls’ getaway.” And Chesca’s restaurant is the favorite restaurant of locals on the island.
