Detailed Reviews
This hotel is sweet as can be. My room was small but bright, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. I loved being sent the key access by text and not having to check in anywhere. There are multiple entry doors to the building so carrying things to my room was easy. The main lobby and accessible kitchenette were also really beautifully furnished and had coffee/tea, a wine fridge, ice etc. It's an easy walk down Main St to everything in Edgartown. I will definitely be back!

This hotel was amazing. The bed was soft, there was a white noise machine in the room, the decor was cute, and it was near everything I wanted to see in Edgartown! The digital key was a huge plus. I couldn’t have chosen a better hotel in Martha’s Vineyard.

I recently stayed at the Franklin Hotel and had an unbelievable experience. All-around, everything was great! Carlos and his staff were extremely friendly, generous and accommodating. The rooms, bed, bathroom, shower, and space in general were very nice and clean, and the location was in a great spot being right next to everything we needed (Downtown Edgartown, State Beach, Food, Drinks, etc.). I highly recommend staying here and it was the perfect place to stay for a summer weekend trip to the Vineyard!

We were a little disappointed. While the room and bathroom were clean, there were no amenities at all. No bottles of water in the room, no in room refrigerator, no freshly brewed coffee in the “kitchen”,no breakfast options (even boxes of cereal or cold fruit were missing), no ability to have a cocktail or snack,
It lacked the simple touches and little things of a higher priced hotel, so for the money it wasn’t a good value at all.

New hotel with several room options. Stayed in Rm #2 (King sized bed). Super clean room and hotel and it was pet friendly so our dog came along. Missed having a mini fridge in the room althogh there was a "shared" kitchen space just off the lobby (didn't want to leave food in there). Robes, slippers, and reusable shopping bag were nice touches, but no phone in the room, no hotel personnel around, and again, no mini fridge. Also - the doors leading to the outside never locked- even though there were key swipes making us think we needed keys to get in after hours. Turns out, the doors were always unlocked. I would definitely consider going back. Part of the group that owns the Edgar, Richard, and Sydney.

loved this charming and stylish boutique hotel! It is in a great location with many good restaurants just a stones throw away. I liked the fact that the main town was only a five minute walk away. The rooms were beautifully decorated and I enjoyed all the little “Franklins”( owners French bull dog)decor inconspicuously displayed throughout the hotel. Nice touch! My room and bathroom was impeccably clean.. Rachel and Emily were sweet and helpful. Thank you for all of your suggestions and recommendations for shops amd restaurants 😉. Can’t wait to come back next summer

Loved the furniture and decor. Very comfortable, relaxing and stylish. The gentleman on staff was very, very nice and accommodating and went out of his way to help us out with some travel logistics. We were there for a wedding and it was the perfect place to stay. A very nice walk into town for a bit of exercise. There are a few cafes and restaurants on the same block as well., and a bike rental a couple houses down the street. Nice, large beach towels. We didn't use the beach chairs. We had no problem finding parking spaces on property, but it wasn't peak season when we went. I'd stay again for sure.

Amazing spot! Close to Edgartown shops and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helped us with a late check out. The property is beautiful and well kept. There’s a stop and shop across the street which made it easy to get groceries or anything else we needed. Will be back for sure!

This was such a lovely stay at the Franklin hotel. We did a two night stay at the beginning of the week, at the busiest time of the summer! and you wouldn’t know it.
For a fully booked hotel it was very quiet and peaceful. the lobby has a modern, fun, and relaxing design. We enjoyed the seating outside as well. The room was great. And after a day at the beach this was the kind of shower you didn’t want to get out of.
The Keurig coffee bar was cute but there are plenty of cafes within walking distance.
Carlos the manager was also very accommodating and professional.
We hope to return soon! With my pup and meet Franklin!
