The complementary breakfasts were delicious and beautifully prepared. We were very happy to pay for reserved parking and the location cannot be beat. Honestly this was the highlight of the trip from the amazing breakfast made from locally sourced ingredients with a playlist to the incredibly clean rooms and super soft bedding. Hot cookies were available every afternoon. Julie and Marla made you feel like you were a part of their family and wanted your stay to be the best possible. You walk in and immediate feel at home. - lmm55911 contributionAmazing Boutique Hotel in a GREAT LocationYou are really missing out if you travel to Martha's Vineyard and don't stay at the Christopher. An amazing boutique hotel right in downtown Edgartown with stylish but quaint rooms (great interior design) AND their customer service is impeccable! They make everyone staying feel special and cared for and they are all about FUN! Marla is amazing gives great advise on getting around the island and providing a map of what to see. They have a Fall N Fun package going on when I stayed in November and it was a really great deal (Flight at Bad Martha's Brewery, Cheese tasting upon arrival from Grey Barn Farm, handcrafted coasters from Chilmark Pottery, a picnic for two (pick our your own goodies) from Morning Glory Farm, two cups of chowder from 19 Raw PLUS you can add on a Jeep rental for your entire stay. The staff are just so sweet, welcoming and knowledgeable (shoutout to Marla!). We had a fabulous time staying at the Christopher. The rooms were clean, equipped with everything we needed and nicely decorated. By far the best part was were the employees. Everyone was so helpful, kind and made our stay so special. Would highly recommend this place.

Property's Favorite Review
We loved our recent stay at The Christopher during the Beach Road Festival! The room was spacious and very appealing. The complementary breakfasts were delicious and beautifully prepared. The Christopher is a lovely boutique hotel with a perfect location from which to explore Edgartown on foot. We were pleased to have a large room (#10) on the top floor with two small balconies from which to catch magnificent sunrises, and generally enjoy observing the comings and goings of all the activity in town. The hotel is one block from the wharf, terrific restaurants and fun shopping, as well only 2 blocks from the famous Chappy Ferry. Perhaps the greatest asset of the wonderful property was the Manager, Ellen!! She answered every question before arrival and once we hit the ground. Her advice, expertise and suggestions were perfect. She definitely made our stay one of the best anywhere in our many travels. Great location, rooms are extremely clean with a fresh scent, individual AC units in each room, friendly staff are available to assist and answer any questions, delicious light breakfast with organic products, free sun chairs and beach towels, convenient bike parking. Room 11 has a balcony where you can enjoy the hotel’s delicious fresh brewed coffee, see a bit of the harbor, and feel the lovely ocean breeze. It is on the top floor where there is no noise.

We love the Christopher!!! It’s a lovely house, the rooms are quaint and comfortable. Breakfast is always a treat and the staff here is the best!! Very cozy and comfortable. Walk to all Edgartown gas to offer.

This small boutique hotel is very well situated in a quiet street. Our room was clean, had a lovely view of the very pretty street and the bed was super comfy with soft white sheets and very fluffy pillows. The breakfast buffet consisted of small portions of yummy home made granola, pastries, eggs and scones etc. There is also a wonderful, cosy outdoor area with a firepit behind the hotel. The staff were all pleasant but Ellen in particular was so warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. We would highly recommend The Christopher. Kylie and Tony from Australia

This is the second time we've traveled to Martha's Vineyard and we felt at home at The Christopher. We've stayed at Edgartown Inn on our first visit and really loved the energy that we wanted to continue staying at Lark Hotels, but try something different. We were glad we did! The rooms are beautifully decorated and colorful. We stayed in the Deluxe King on the second floor. It was one of the most comfortable stays we've had. The breakfast in the morning was cute with freshly made bites curated from local vendors. We loved sitting outside to try and get a glimpse of the stars by the fire. The general manager, Alison, really made us feel welcomed and we enjoyed our conversations with her. Her and her team go out of their way to make sure each guest's stay is enjoyable. I’ve been coming to MV for 50 years but this is my first time at the Christopher. Never in my life have I experienced such unbelievable customer service…on the Vineyard or anywhere! From super creative problem solving our room situation (which was my fault) to helping us leave early suddenly. Morning texts, incredibly helpful and lovely Alison and Ellen—going way way above and beyond. AND the recommendation to go to the MV museum was THE BEST experience!! Our family reunion was perfect; they were all amazed at our daily stories about Alison or Ellen helping us. Give these women a huge raise lol‼️‼️♥️♥️

Writing this for my parents - Thank you to Allison, Alex, and Allan (I think I got all those names right!). My parents have never been to MV before so I had them stay here to be in the heart of Edgartown. We had the most amazing stay at the Christopher. From the warm welcoming Allison who was so accommodating, to the home baked cookies and breakfast with maple bacon on a stick!! The decor was fabulous, the rooms were incredibly clean and the bed and pillows were heavenly. Can’t recommend it enough!
