Back again this November after a two year hiatus and this time proud owners of an ocean front unit at the Harborside Inn. We had been so impressed with the location (only waterfront in Edgartown), close proximity to shops, eateries and ferry to Chappaquiddick and the people we met at the timeshare, it was time to purchase. And that we did enjoying our lovely cozy harbor view unit with small balcony overlooking beautiful landscaped grounds, a heated pool still open should we dare to take a plunge and a fire pit to warm ourselves on a cold crisp evening. By now the buildings have enjoyed a long awaited renovation and all units updated with new showers, carpeting, furniture and fittings all tastefully decorated. Now an owner we can cook in the owner's kitchen which has several fridges, stoves and a dining room to eat in and an opportunity to chat with fellow owners. Under new manager Jeffrey changes are very visible but much seems to be going on behind the scenes to improve and maintain a wonderful piece of property that we as owners have grown to love. People make a place and without an outstanding staff that Jeffrey has, it would not be the wonderful place it is. November affords us a parking space outside our door, a two minute walk to restaurants, shops, early morning coffee ( some closed for the season) and option to a catch a movie if it rains. Hop into the car and walk some of the 100 miles of trails or bike the paths if you are so inclined. All at our fingertips in November but not so much in the summer time. Weather..well so far it has obliged 40's 50's and occasional 60 but that won't prevent us for we are hardy New Englanders and sold and perhaps the Obamas are too! …
Definitely worth the price. Feel of being pleasantly secluded despite downtown location. Charming overall. Huge common area with computer. Large grounds, comfortable rooms, private parking 0.3miles down water street, must check in first to get car tag, also must drop off bags given that walk which is on uneven brick sidewalks and rather dark streets. Laundry facility on site. big pool, love the simple thinks like the bathroom warming lamps. grills and tables out in large yard. refrigerator in room . staff went out of their way to help us twice with many bags and arriving in the middle of the night. Very good service experience
The staff was great! Our plans changed when we decided to invite my mother-in-law. We needed to change the dates as well as upgrade the room to two beds. The staff, specifically Jay, could not have been more accommodating! He was great! Our room was beautiful. We stayed in the Ripley House and had an amazing view of the harbor. It had a private entrance, a porch and a Keurig in the room. The room and the grounds were immaculate. There are a ton of restaurants and shops steps from the Inn. Just a beautiful, friendly, convenient stay all around!!
I've been coming to the Harborside Inn for many years. It is in a perfect location overlooking Edgartown Harbor. There are docks, a heated pool, beautiful grounds, chairs, grills, and stunning views everywhere you look. From the minute you step into the registration area, you are at peace. Everyone on staff there is fabulous. Friendly and efficient and happy! Always ready to help-with a smile!! I look forward to seeing them every year. I highly recommend the Harborside Inn! See you next year!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ LOVE the Harborside Inn!!! Have vacationed here every year for the past 15 years and it just keeps getting better & better...if that's even possible. This resort is absolutely beautiful, directly on Edgartown Harbor, with spectacular views. It is right in the heart of downtown, only steps away to all the dining, entertainment, shopping, galleries, historical sites, ancient whaling Captain's homes, stunning gardens, waterfront views, beaches and activities that historic Edgartown has to offer. The Inn and grounds & landscaping are sooo lovely! Many of the common areas have just been renovated this year, adding an even more upscale, luxurious experience. The Harborside Inn provides great amenities including a heated pool, a new firepit, ongoing daily activities for the guests and children, docks and free parking. The staff and management are exceptional. They are genuinely friendly & gracious, extremely accommodating, pay exquisite attention-to-detail, and give brilliant customer service, making each and every guest feel welcome, comfortable and at home. The Harborside Inn is my favorite place in the world. Every vacation at this little piece of heaven on earth is always so uplifting, thoroughly enjoyable and visually spectacular. I can't recommend The Harborside Inn in Edgartown highly enough!…
