My family and I went to Martha's Vineyard to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. The hotel and the team was exceptional. The breakfast was delicious. I would use this hotel the next time I visit the island. Professional and warming; luxury at its best.
We stayed at The Hob Knob from 3rd July to the 7th July 2022 for our Honeymoon. Abby, Forest, Sam and the rest of the team were fantastic from sorting out tickets for the MV Sharks game, to booking our choice of restaurants and offering advice on different locations we chose to visit. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough for us to make our stay special. The ladies who made our breakfast every day were superb and the breakfast was outstanding. We were there for the 4th July celebrations and what an amazing experience, with The Hob Knob putting on a soiree for its guests. We have taken away with us so many beautiful memories of our stay . It is within easy walking distance for many of the bars, restaurants in Edgartown. Well done to everyone at The Hob Knob for all your hard work and the lovely, friendly atmosphere that you have created - PERFECTION Jill & Simon England…
We stayed at the Hob Knob over Labor Day weekend and it was absolutely lovely! It's in a great and convenient location, the breakfast was otherworldly, and the room was fantastic. We may go back just for the comfy bed and amazing breakfast!
The service and quality is unbeatable. Even before arriving, the service I received from the Hob Knob exceeded my expectations. Having only been to Martha's Vineyard once before, they answered all my questions and gave recommendations that proved spot on for dinner, shopping, and activities. I hope to return to Martha's Vineyard many times and would love to visit and stay in other areas outside of Edgartown but having had such a great experience at the Hob Knob, I don't know how staying anywhere else could meet the expectation they have set.
The Hob Knob is a beautiful and well-run Inn/B&B in an excellent location, a five minute walk from downtown Edgartown. The rooms and common areas (including the awesome wraparound porch) are well cared for and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The staff is very helpful as well. All in all, its expensive, but worth the splurge if that's what you're looking to do.
We stayed here in early May, so there were not a lot of other places opened whom allow dogs. We stayed in the suite on the second floor. We arrived to freshly baked cookies for us along with a dog treat for our dog. The place was clean. The hotel personnel were really nice and helpful. We made sure we attended “tea” everyday. The selection for tea was rather nice especially since I am pretty sure that one of the days we were the only ones in residence (due to the time of year). I would have loved to have been able to drink the tea on their gorgeous porch with so many rockers and comfortable seats unfortunately it was too cold to do that during our stay (the porch is shady and I bet it would be great to sit here during a hot summer day). Breakfast was awesome. The food came out to us piping hot and each day was something new / different. They have a nice inside porch/sun room area along with another spot with comfortable chairs inside. Parking is really tight. I am unsure how parking would work when the “hotel” is in full swing. Beside their gorgeous porch; there is an outside patio sitting area. We walked to many spots in town from the hotel as it is nicely located in Edgartown. We did not have a problem with our dog being in residence. He sat with us outside in the sunny patio area and inside in the sunroom with no problem (ignore other reviews which indicate your dog is not wanted). The TV’s were a little small; it was hard to watch the Boston Celtics on the small Tv in the living room but once again…we were here in the off season…so, in the summer this would not be a problem as we would have been out and about on the town. Yes, we would return.…
We loved our stay at the Hob Knob. It was perfect for a long weekend wedding. The breakfast was yummy, the staff friendly and helpful, and the accommodation perfect. We would stay there again and again.
Can’t give enough great reviews for the Hob Knob Inn. I was contacted about a week before our arrival and asked what time we planned to arrive, if we had any special needs or requests and if they could make any reservations for us. On day of arrival, when we pulled into the parking lot, Forest greeted us in the parking lot, assisted with out luggage and gave us a very heartfelt welcome and ‘orientation’ to the Inn. The following morning, we were greeted by Abby’s smiling face. She assisted us with plans for the day and made some excellent suggestions. Abby and Forest were a great ‘face’ for the Inn. They were both extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. The ladies in the kitchen were friendly and provided delicious breakfasts. The inn itself was immaculately clean, very cozy, and very inviting. The outdoor spaces were beautiful and very well maintained. I can not say enough great things about Abby, Forest, and then entire staff at The Hob Knob Inn. Highly recommend staying here - you won’t be disappointed.…
We couldn't have been happier with our choice of The Hob Knob (THK) !! My girlfriend had never been to the island so I wanted this to be a special trip for her and THK was the perfect place !! Abby, Forest and the team made us feel right at home and special. Anything we wanted they were able to help us out. The wonderful ladies in the kitchen delivered our complimentary breakfasts to us in our room each morning and the afternoon snacks and tea were scrumptious. Forest helped us rent bicycles and made a reservation for Alchemy for our final night there as and it was as special !! My partner and I would say "I love this place" each day after we came back from our activities. Def will be a return customer !!!
We stayed at the Hob Nob for six nights. Accommodations , location and service all met our expectations! Two minor comments - mattress on bed in Room 11 dipped in the middle and overall was somewhat soft, and on our last day at breakfast they ran out of their delicious ginger scones and the usually fluffy eggs were over cooked. I would recommend to anyone traveling to MV.
