This place is special. My husband and I stayed here years ago when it was under different ownership. We loved it so much and were worried about coming back when it changed hands. The new owners have made it even better! They made great improvements to the property and eating area. And on top of that they are really sweet people who make incredible breakfasts (wonderful blueberry pancakes and freshly baked goodies!) The place was impeccably clean. You can tell that they really care about this place and the people who stay here. I highly recommend this gem. We would stay here again. Probably very soon! Grateful for our three nights here.

Property's Favorite Review
Christina and Steve are new owners of this property. They have made improvements using original blueprints ! The result is dizzyingly beautiful. All the buildings and rooms are all spectacularly appointed, all with their own charm. Most have private balconies that look upon this amazing property. The grounds are kept up meticulously and everywhere you look gives you a great sense of peace and harmony and wonderment . Their reception area is most welcoming with keurig coffee, cookies and drinks, even some nightcap liquors for your pleasure. That is a sign that the owners really care about their guests, and go out of their way to make them happy. Their breakfasts alone are nothing short of amazing. Christina pulls out all the stops, and also pulls out her amazing King Arthur cookbook, creating the most memorable breakfasts imaginable. Serving things like a Grits Souffle, the fluffiest Blueberry Pancakes with real maple syrup, sausages and bacon, amazing breads (which she makes) along with fresh fruit and fresh juices. Steve takes you into their gorgeous dining room (so light and airy), seats you, serves you, pours your first cup of coffee, and makes your morning a real joy. I was then ready to conquer my day. Things that make this property special are not only a gym , hot tub and swimming resistance pool but their sheer excitement in welcoming you with their grand hospitality, kindness, and a great sense of fun! This property is a real gem, and it's the owners that make it shine!

We went for a relaxing weekend getaway and were more than thrilled with our stay. Christina and Steve are impeccable hosts. The room was beautiful as were the grounds. Breakfast was delicious! And we made good use of the pool, hot tub, sauna and exercise equipment at the spa. Definitely a destination worth visiting again.

My husband and I stayed at whale walk for 3 nights at the end of september The inn and its rooms are really nice. The innkeepers Christina and Steve are also terrific. Couldn't recommend a better place in the area which is central to the upper part of the cape.

Truly a special place. From the first moment we walked in, Christina and Steve made us feel so welcome! Our room in the Carriage House was large, pretty, and spotless, with a charming gas fireplace that was welcome on a chilly morning. The breakfasts are exceptional, both in quality and presentation. (A favorite was waffles with blueberry compote!) The grounds are beautiful. This young couple really put their hearts into their work. We’ll be back!
