We loved our stay here. Nice room (albeit small) and clean and well kept. Great location and right next to bike bath. Loved the pool and picnic table to grill/eat in and save money. Nice breakfast and very friendly helpful host.

If your looking for a very clean, well kept, nice property, that is a vintage motel style, then this is the place. I have no complaints and only gave 3 stars, because the room are aged. Otherwise, I do plan to stay again and have no problem recommending them, so long as you know it a nice motel.

I've stated Viking shores many times but quite a few years ago. The new young couple running the place is doing a great job and it is much more updated and modern than it used to be. They are very friendly and accommodating and the rooms have been updated and are clean and comfortable!

This is an old school off the road motel. The room we had (queen bed) was a decent size. The furniture is a bit old, but it was really clean and workable. The tv and WiFi worked well. The pool is really nice and clean. We stayed in a room that faced the property, not the road. I’d definitely ask for that again, as it was much quieter. They have a sister property in N.Truro that we used to go to the bay beach, and then cleaned off, changed clothes, and caught the shuttle to Ptown (didn’t have to deal with limited parking there). The breakfast was disappointing, but coffee was good. Not much else offered. When back in the area, I can see us staying in VS again, though. Definitely a excellent buy. Nice place with a nice staff.

I’m being generous with 2 stars. We came down for one night to watch our son ride in the Pan Mass. Not a lot of places would allow for a one night stay on a weekend so few choices. So we ended up here based on the glowing reviews. I’ve always done well by TA and try to balance out the good and not so good but all the reviews were great so I figured all would be fine. Not so much. Where did you all stay because it wasn’t here! Check in was super easy so that was a positive. But that’s where it ended for us. The rooms are really run down, small and outdated. Think 1980. I could have lived with all that however I paid almost 200 for one night ( albeit it’s the cape in August) for a room that smelled ( could not figure out what it was but wasn’t pleasant) thin walls, extremely uncomfortable beds and pillows and dirty floors. I don’t mind paying good money but I expect a decent experience in return. Happy it WAS only for one night!
