Spent the day at Mass MoCa Visit. Harbour House was just 15-20 minutes away and was perfect. The Inn is quaint and immaculate. Jen the owner couldn't have been nicer, with nice homemade brownies waiting for us in the evening. The room was nicely appointed, bed really comfortable. The breakfast-eggs from their own chickens, bacon, home made french toast with blueberry composte was delicious.
Our friends booked for us 2 nights at the BB. Jen. welcomed us warmly, helped us and explained us with everything. Wonderful breakfast with another 8 visitors around one beautifully laid table. In the evenings, hot drinks, fruit and home made cookies waited for us.
Harbour House Inn was our last stop on a trip east to enjoy family and Fall foliage. What a great ending to a delightful week-long trip. Jennifer was the perfect hostess - warmly welcoming us when we arrived (a little bit late) and then making sure we got settled in comfortably. Her open and hospitable style helped us to not only learn about the area but also to get to know each other a bit. The home is a true oasis and breakfasts were a delectable feast!
Harbour House in Cheshire, MA is exactly what one thinks of when imagining a B&B - a welcoming hostess, an old home filled with country-style decor, a communal breakfast with other guests, an overnight that isn't at a friend's house but isn't at a hotel either. We found the facilities quite good. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We were in one of the two rooms that share a both and found that to be no problem at all. Our room was close to the road, which was noisy, but running the fan on the fake fireplace muted that. A nice place for an overnight stay.
Like many others we found Jennifer to be a fab host. From our arrival welcome, warming the room and helping us during our stay we could not ask for a better experience. Delicious and fresh breakfast .
