as you enter Chatham Inn, located in the charming village of the same name...we have stayed in many inns over the years, but this one took our hearts away...it rose right to the top of the list ! I would have a difficult time finding fault with anything...staff is wonderful...each and every one...helpful, supportive, informative..and gracious...interior had been remodeled some years ago with exquiste attention to detail...our room was lovely..small, bright, elegant in a charming way...baths are contemporary and full of everything you need...the outdoor patio an inviting location just to sit and while away moments...happy hour can be spent there with a delicious glass of red or white chosen by the inn to serve. Breakfast is a highlight..a menu full of choices and food was superb. This was for us a memorable inn experience...luxurious, comfortable, appealing and warmth that doesn't end.
thank you all at Chatham Inn...

My wife & I spent 3 nights at the Chatham Inn and it was wonderful. Due to Covid, we waited outside while the previous party checked in which was fine with us. Once we allowed to check in, it was fast, simple and we were in our room without further delay. The room, a Deluxe King with a fireplace, was impeccably clean and a supply of disposable masks and hand sanitizer was provided. Information on how the room was sanitized gave us a good, comfortable feeling that our stay would be safe. Peter, the innkeeper, was professional, yet very personable, as he showed us around the room. As was the case with our previous stay, the room was furnished very well and had ample room. Each day, our room was cleaned and freshened up by a housekeeper who greeted us each time we saw her with a big smile and some engaging conversation.
The breakfasts provided each morning were outstanding with many selections to choose from. The waitstaff was wonderful and the staff could not do enough for you. We had dinner on our last night at Cuvee, the Inn's superb restaurant. The cocktails, appetizers, entrees, wine and dessert were all superb, but I thought the size of the striploin was a bit small, guessing around 4-5 oz.. Other than that, we both really enjoyed our meal and service.
Our entire stay was a pleasure and we look forward to returning to the Chatham Inn sometime next Spring.

Located close to town and to the beach, the Chatham Inn was a great place to stay for a short vacation. We spent 3 nights there in Room #14.
(1) Room
The room was very clean and tidy, and we were provided with additional disposable masks and hand sanitizer. The room itself was a nice size with a small sitting area and a separate bedroom, both with lots of natural light. We found the bed and plentiful pillows very comfortable. The shower in the bathroom was luxurious with the body jets but unfortunately could not be turned on simultaneously as the overhead shower. In addition, parts of the cabinet and sink were peeling/in need of maintenance. Room #14 was in a corner of the second floor, and we thought it was very quiet. Overall, the room had a very modern and contemporary feel with the furnishings. It was very interesting to see pictures of the inn’s historical roots as the Monomoyick Inn from the early 1900s.
(2) Service
Housekeeping services were great and kept our supply of water and clean linens well stocked. Peter, Kathy, and Lyn at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. They gave us the wonderful idea of picking up sandwiches from across the street and let us borrow a cooler to transport some supplies and a beach umbrella to the nearby beach. All the staff were great about social distancing and the masks policy.
(3) Food
Breakfast each morning was delicious with several great options. Everything was freshly prepared and delicious. We also had dinner one night at the restaurant and appreciated the local ingredients but thought that portion size was a bit small for the price point.
(4) Amenities

(5) Location/Convenience
We appreciated the fact that the Inn is within a few minutes walking distance to town, where we spent the days looking through the stores and galleries. It was also within reasonable walking distance to other parts of Chatham. The beach is only a short walk away, which was convenient.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback and to share your impressions with other potential guests. We strive to provide an exceptional experience for everyone and your observations are well taken. The menu portions are by design due to the concept of the fixed-price menu that allows you to experience a large variety of food options and combinations. We hope to have again the opportunity to host you again. Meanwhile we wish you happy Holidays and a prosperous New Year.

We stayed for a weekend visit to celebrate our Anniversary, the 4th of July in 2020. While we're all trying to figure out "the new normal," Lyn and her team at Chatham Inn are forging ahead as the very model of safety, hospitality, and service.
Check-in was a breeze as they were prepared for arrival and already welcoming us by name - literally no wait in the lobby. Our room was arranged, amenities (complimentary masks, sanitizer, and more) at the ready.
The Inn is superbly situated, just a couple minutes walk to town or to a nearby beach and lighthouse. The neighborhood is gorgeous and worth a walk to see the cottages and homes. There's plenty of parking at the Inn so there's also the opportunity to drive elsewhere on the Cape.
The patio allows for proper distancing so it was wonderful to enjoy their fire pit. I had come unprepared for the unseasonal cold, so the hostess brought a cozy knit blanket for me to wrap myself in by the fire. The wine selection is excellent.
The restaurant features some great concepts on their menu. Their late opening this season means refinement of some of their dishes is still needed. This Southerner believes they need to smoke their brisket a tad longer. However the Lobster Beignets with green Gazpacho is sublime. Seating is widely spaced and very reassuring. Scotty provided outstanding attention, detail, and service. Our deserts wished us a Happy Anniversary!
Early in our visit, my husband needed to go to Urgent Care, and Lyn provided directions and concern. The entire staff checked on our health after the visit, referring always to us by name.
Our room was spacious and comfortable. We particularly liked the quiet, embedded AC units, and the rain/body shower. The atmosphere is seaside luxury. It was reassuring here to see a notice that each room was sanitized before guests' arrival.
It was a perfect weekend getaway, and just what we needed in these crazy, isolated days.

This was out first stay outside our home in a post Covid world. The Inn took every possible precaution and our room was clean and sanitized, including TV remote in a clean plastic sleeve. Lynn, the Innkeeper, manages the property extremely well. The service provided and kindness of the staff are second to none. We are repeat guests and will return again. Photo is of a birthday dessert at the restaurant there. Chatham is taking precaution seriously. Masks required everywhere. $300 fine for violation for those without masks. We were happy to see this!

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Chatham Inn for a getaway weekend earlier this year. We arrived at the inn and were warmly greeted by Peter and Kathy, who checked us in and escorted us to our well-appointed and cozy room overlooking the town. Every need was anticipated, and the room was both luxurious and comfortable. Once we freshened up and went downstairs, we were treated to a signature seasonal cocktail at the bar until our table at Cuvee was ready. We were then ushered into the dining room and seated at a beautifully set and intimate table with a view of the fireplace. We were treated to a chef’s selection of delightful dishes that included menu items such as Foie Gras Pate’, Scallops, and Japanese A5 Wagyu Beef. Every dish was uniquely prepared, incredibly flavorful, and beautifully presented. The variety and quality of the wine list was outstanding. The desserts were plentiful and amazingly decadent, and the coffee was rich and freshly ground.
We were pleasantly surprised by the staff, accommodations, and luxury of this beautiful premier hotel as well as delighted by Cuvee’s delectable fine dining experience. We will be visiting Chatham Inn again, however, next time we plan to stay longer!

Desperately needed a little getaway during Covid. Peter and Kathy are gracious hosts. Very attentive and accommodating. Our room was gorgeous and they have thought of everything - a little refrigerator with water bottles, chocolates and the bathroom even had a makeup mirror and a toothbrush stand. The furniture was totally comphy and we loved the fireplace. Definitely recommend. Oh - and the restaurant was perfection!

Booked three nights over July fourth weekend at the Chatham Inn for a quick long weekend away. Didn’t know what to expect, but they are a member of Relais and Chateux so my hopes were high.
My hopes were exceeded by everyone in staff. The service here from housekeeping, valets, hosts, servers, to the innkeeper and the owner constantly went above and beyond. To a person they were kind, attentive and personable. Any request or question was taken care of and the result was more than I had thought of myself.
I was very impressed with the covid rules in place. All staff and guests were wearing masks. Tables were spaced far apart, and there was sanitizer everywhere. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bed gave me some of the best nights sleeps I have had in a while.
Breakfast came with the room and we had a great choice everyday from the menu.
We enjoyed a 4 course tasting menu for dinner one night in their restaurant Cuvée. Scotty our server was fantastic, any little problems we had were taken care of right away. For a restaurant that had only been open 5 days, they did an amazing job.
Lyn the innkeeper was one of the kindest people I have ever run into working behind the desk of any hotel.
The inn is right in the heart of Chatham and is a short walk to the center of Main Street or to lighthouse beach.
I could not recommend Chatham Inn more. I look forward to returning for another weekend away. Is next weekend too soon?

We can't wait for you to return! and as we navigate the " new normal" we are thrilled to read that you felt safe and comfortable during your stay. The inn's location is certainly one of the best as it is equidistant between town and the beach, with a complimentary shuttle service provided by our friendly valet's from the lot next door if you don't feel like walking.

We stayed at Chatham Inn for a few days and found it charming. The location was perfect for walking around Chatham and visiting the shops, etc. We stayed in #5, a corner room on the first floor. Although not huge, there was a small table with 2 comfortable chairs. The bathroom was very well appointed- great walk-in rain shower head with full body spray! A breakfast is included and has a small menu of options. Housekeeping was fabulous and very nice!!! Parking is ample in the rear of the inn. The owners (Peter and Sherry) were on-site all day and very kind. Highly recommend!

Truly one of the best hotel experiences we have had. The room was small ( there are larger rooms and suites) but well appointed with many pleasant surprises like chocolates and port with turn down service, complimentary stylish water bottles, a fabulous shower and toiletries and the nicest attentive staff you could ask for.
The complimentary full breakfast in front of a fire was delicious and exceeded all expectations. The location in Chatham on Main Street was convenient and we had dinner both nights at excellent local restaurants -Pates and Del Mar.
A very high end dinner experience is available at Cuvée - the hotel’s restaurant. A cozy bar is also on the premises. This was in every way a fabulous experience!

I am not sure, but my gut would be NO.
Hello,
Yes! Our inn, restaurant and location are all very romantic. We frequently have honeymooners, and many people have also gotten engaged here.
All of our rooms are beautiful, but you may want to specifically consider Room 7, which has a 2-sided fireplace between the room and the two person tub, Room 19 which is one of our largest rooms and is very private, or Room 3 with the beautiful new spa bath, fireplace, wet bar and balcony.
Please call us at 508-945-9232 or email us and we will be happy to help you plan dinners, activities, in-room amenities such as flowers, locally made chocolate truffles and champagne, or even a private sightseeing flight over the Cape!
Jeff & Kayla
Hello
I am sorry for the delayed response, I just saw this question.
Room 10 is located on the second floor, and has a southeastern exposure. Like all of our rooms, it was remodeled and completely refurnished in 2014-2015.
Our boutique hotel was originally built in 1830, and the staircase to the second floor of this wing is a bit steeper than modern staircases, but not terribly steep. Room 10 is at the end of the hall, and is a corner room located at the back of the inn (away from Main Street.) It is very quiet.
The room features a Queen bed with 2 bedside tables, large dresser, 2 chairs, ensuite bathroom with bathtub/shower and blow dryer, flatscreen television with cable, alarm clock with 2-outlet and USB charging station, iron and ironing board, and wifi. It also has exposed ceiling beams, and is quite nice and bright. The bathroom is also bright and nice, but on the smaller side.
Please take a look at the "Rooms" page on our website for a complete description and photo of each room.
Thank you!
Jeff and Kayla
