Chatham is one of the best places to stay in Cape Cod. This hotel is a 10min walk to Chatham town and Oyster Pond beach without costing an arm and a leg! Staff is so friendly and engaging in answering all questions (even touristy-ones). Spacious room (we had 2 queens) compared to traditional hotels. Best of all is the microwave and fridge that again are not provided in a traditional hotel but are much appreciated for young kids! We could spend 1/2 day at any beach on Cape Cod and come back to a magically cleaned room.

Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. What more could you want in a beautiful and well landscaped setting. The manager Cindy was more than accommodating with our every request. She was absolutely pleasant in every way making sure we had directions to local restaurants and to catch the ferry to Martha's Vineyard, We give it a five start rating only because that is the highest in most systems.

We needed to stay in Chatham for a family event in February. This was a lovely and affordable off-season find that is close to downtown. The room was adorable, loved the mini-Keurig, organic teas, comfy bed, quality towels - super impressed! The caretaker was so kind. Thank you for a lovely stay!!

We were here in December. It was clean and had the basics but the room I stayed in had a level change between the bedroom and bathroom and every time I went in there I bumped my toe. I kept saying I would remember the next time but I never did. Cindi seems to do everything during the winter and she does a good job at managing the hotel. We asked for an early check-in and they were able to provide it for us. On the downside, the room had no carpeting so it was pretty cold. There is little noise reduction between the rooms so we heard the occupants next door and every time the door squeaked open and closed. Security leaves something to be desired as they still use a room key not key cards and there is only a single easy to jimmy lock on the door. There is a second lock for when you are inside the room but once you leave, you don't have a key to close the dead-bolt. The room door was also not properly installed as it rubbed as you closed it and that made it hard to close the door. Even opening the door was a little tricky, you had to jiggle the key quite a bit to get it to work. There is no desk in the room in case that is important to you. The TV is also small by modern day standards, looks like 27" in case that is important to you. It was fine for us. They only give you one luggage stand although I am sure they would provide another if requested. We just used one of the chairs in the room for the second suitcase. Room had Kureg style coffee maker, large fridge, and small microwave. Internet worked fine to stream Netflix; I measured it at 13 down, 6 up. The bathroom was super clean and functional but could use some shelves. There was no exhaust fan in bathroom which seemed odd. Only one bar of soap provided but they will give more on request. Nothing else provided, i.e. shampoo, so bring your own or be prepared to ask for it. We paid $183 per night including tax and that price is moderate by Chatham standards. If you can find a better hotel at that price, you should take it. But if this suits your budget, you won't hate your experience, you just are not going to love it.

Room was spotless and very comfortable. We liked how the shower/toilet were in their own room away from the sink/vanity and refrigerator. Staff was very helpful with any special requests. We will stay there again for sure!

We had a great experience with the staff at the Chatham Highlander, they were incredibly helpful and were always available when a need arose. The room was spacious and comfortable and large windows affording plenty of natural light, I especially like the very comfortable Bed, I have back problems and rarely do I find lodging that have a bed I can trust to provide a relaxing night sleep. The Chatham Highlander is located right on Main Street with a short walk to the downtown to the local restraunts and shops and a short drive to beaches and scenic harbor views. I love the beautiful property which provided seating areas with picnic tables and relaxing lawn chairs on a hillside under shade trees, a great setting for a picnic. The property has two heated outdoor pools, for our first Cape Cod vacation we feel we made an awesome choice! We will be back!

Stayed three nights while visiting family. Our room felt fresh and was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We appreciated the fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The location, on the outskirts of town, enabled us to walk to everything without feeling in the midst of the hustle and bustle. This will be our go to spot when family requires overflow housing!

Stayed at the Chatham Highlander Inn for the first time. Very nice. Location is close to everything. Rooms are recently renovated and are perfect. Pool is heated to 85 degrees. I know I carry a thermometer. Owners live on-site and are extremely helpful. Hospitality is second to none. We will be back in 2022.

This hotel is sparkling clean. The lovely grounds are impeccably maintained, including the 2 pools (one of which is adults only). The staff is gracious and hardworking. Parking is plentiful, and the location is perfect. We will definitely return!
